    Lyon's Central Park guided tour in 90 mins

    On one of the hottest days of the summer, we were able to enjoy a full trip around the park thanks to this great pedicab tour in about 90 minutes. I was with my elderly mother who cannot walk far so this was our best way to experience this beautiful park from an expert who comes every day. You get to see multiple botanical and rose gardens, the zoo, and also many hidden gems you would not be able to visit in under 4 hours otherwise without transportation. Very kind to find us and drop us off conveniently. Highly recommended for English or Spanish speakers.

    The tour of the Tete d Or was taken on Tuesday morning, 22nd August, 2023. Our host, DIDAC showed us around the various spots of this famous and impressive park, built in the 19th century. Our host explained to us the sections we would be visiting, shared interesting stories and explained to us the tour with pictures he was carrying with him. Unfortunately, because of the record heat wave during those days, the trip was rather exhausting, although, the timing was shifted from the afternoon to morning to avoid discomfort. The main point which I would like to emphasize is that any informed tourist can do this tour on his/her own and does not need to be "guided". The park is well marked and can be covered in couple of hours without any help for most tourists. This is not to discredit the host, who made great efforts to make the tour interesting. It is just that the tour is not worth its value for money.

    We appreciate your long & detailed review and background. Anyway we want to clarify several points 1- The Parc is well signaled but its not true could be do alone with no guide. Informations added on this tour are very unique, even for versed custumers ( roses, printing, botanical exposition 1894,etc ). 2- This tour is a private Tour, so you are the only participants. Price will be higher than other tour with lots of participants. Kind regards

    Très beau parc mais la visite n’était pas ce à quoi nous nous attendions. Les boissons que nous devions avoir n’ont jamais été offertes, la visite s’est fait au pas de course. Le guide était très connaissant mais plus ou moins attentif à nos besoins. Nous n’avons pas pu apprécier le parc à sa juste valeur.

    Nous sommes désolés que la visite ne se soit pas déroulée comme vous l'espériez. Les conditions météorologiques défavorables en ont fait une visite avec un rythme plus rapide que d'habitude.

    Le guide est venu nous chercher devant l'hôtel et c'est très appréciable. Un peu d'histoire de Lyon sur le trajet et visite guidée du parc. C'était très intéressant et agréable.

    Histoire du parc,anecdote, histoire de la ville de Lyon. J' ai passé un excellent moment je recommande de faire cette au printemps pour profiter des fleurs mais ce fut quand même très bien, très enrichissant.Envie de retourner me balader au printemps .guide tres sympathique
