Top Lyon Running Tours

Travelers that want to avoid a crowded tour bus—but see more than with a typical walking tour—shouldn't miss this comfortable, pedicab tour in Lyon. As you cruise through the heart of the city, see top attractions, from bustling Place Bellecour to the historic Theatre des Celestins and Cathedral Saint Jean Baptiste. Along the way, learn about Lyon's history from your guide, and see some of the city's ancient hillside passageways, called traboules.

It is an original and healthy way to discover the most interesting places of the city in a short time. What better way to discover the culture and history of Lyon than by practicing running. In addition, the face of the city allows participants to adapt their desires to multiple itineraries: a 100% urban outing, a trail experience on the hills, or an activity within the lungs of the city: the Park of the Head Golden. Always listening to you, I adapt this experience to the desires and needs of the participants. And for the followers in the chrono, I also propose sessions on track that we could realize together.

Meet a Lyon local for a private walking tour that’s like having a friend—rather than a professional guide—to show you around the city. It’s a new concept in travel, and everything from the pre-tour phone consultation to the walking tour itself is completely tailored to you. Whether you’re exploring neighborhood life or looking for Lyon’s most authentic flavors, it’s a personalized alternative to an off-the-shelf itinerary.

Spend an afternoon sampling delicious Beaujolais in the Crus wine region. Ride by striking scenery like the Mont Brouilly volcano and charming towns like Régnié, Morgon, and Fleurie. Take in views of the region from La Madone Chapel, then head to a family winery to learn about wine production and sample different wines. Visit a larger Chateau for an atmospheric tasting in a cellar filled with oak barrels.
