Our tour guide, Konstantin was amazing !!! We had a lot of cold and rain but that did not stop us from the dramatically atmospheric scenes of secret passages and traboules …actually it made it even better.. LOL
We had only half a day in Lyon and this was perfect to get to know it! And even have one of the best hot chocolate stops ever!! Merci again Konstantin!

Konstantin was well informed and entertaining. We enjoyed learning about the history of Lyon in addition to seeing the sights. The tour itself was a good itinerary to see the highlights of old Lyon.

We loved this tour. Konstantin was so kind and generous with his knowledge and time - up until meeting him we were very disappointed with Lyon. Konstantin renewed our faith in the city and introduced us to a bunch of traboules that we would never have found on our own. He walked us all around the city and offered many suggestions for further activities to do over our next few days.
We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Konstantin.

Our guide Konstantin, was a fountain of knowledge. He was passionate and could make interesting comments that showed his ability to synthesise different ways of explaining the development of Lyon.
He had a wonderful dry sense of humour.

Constantine did not seem happy with taking the tour. He constantly complained about Lyon and what it had to offer. If anything positive was said about the city he countered with a negative answer. This was somewhat disconcerting. He also pointed to a hydrangea and said that it was a mulberry tree.
Not impressed with his knowledge or attitude.

I am surprised that i gave you such an impression, I love walking in Lyon with my friends, family and strangers alike and sharing its rich history, i try not to glorify nor vilify it, but rather tell a story of how the city became what it is today, sorry if you felt I was overenthusiast with the critique, i never relised i may sound this way :)
My bad about the mulberry tree, I do not pretend to have extended botanical expertese, (perhaps I should pay a visit to the botabical garden in Tete d'Or..); to my untrained eye the leaves of both plats look alike and since there is a small mulberry tree in a pot in the courtyard we usually visit, i assumed the other one was same thing,lacking any other major distinctive signs - that's one thing I love about the tours, that i can learn from every one who chooses to join me on these walks!

This tour was a great introduction to Lyon. Our enthusiastic guide took us from Place Bellecour through Old Lyon and back. He had a lot of inside info to share - the traboules we walked through were amazing. After this tour we were able to make the best of the rest of our time in Lyon.

Konstantin is a fantastic tour guide. He is exceptionally knowledgeable and was able to adjust my tour to include areas that I had not previously seen. We were able to see multiple traboules in Vieux Lyon on my Monday morning tour (if interested, make sure to ask when they are open). I strongly recommend for anyone visiting Lyon!!
