Itinerary

This Yosemite National Park 2-day trip takes off from Las Angeles. Get picked up at your hotel and get driven over to the Amtrack train station.

Once you board the train, ride it to Fresno. In Fresno, you’ll have free time for the night to grab dinner (own expense) or go exploring the town. Your night’s accommodation is provided for you, and the next morning has an early start time, so it’s best to rest, too.

On day two, your guide picks you up at your Fresno hotel to start the drive over to Yosemite National Park. Your park admission fee is included with this tour for an easy day.
If you’re going in the spring or fall, stop at Glacier Point for stunning views over Yosemite Valley. In the park, visit top highlights including Tunnel view, Bridalveil Falls, Sentinel Bridge, Yosemite Valley Chapel, Yosemite Falls, El Capitan, Yosemite Valley View, Fern Springs, and the campsites of President Theodore Roosevelt and John Muir.

On day two, after your Yosemite National Park tour, take the Amtrack from Fresno back to Los Angeles.

Relax and arrive at Amtrak location near you after 11 am for your ride to Fresno. Exact times will be on your tickets.

If you want to visit Yosemite on your way to San Francisco or any other direction in Amtrak please book the tour and then contact us to let us know where you would like to go. If your destination is up to San Francisco area or Sacramento area there is no additional cost. There will be additional cost if you are traveling further away and cost of your train fare is higher then round trip to Los Angeles

Good tour but promised refund never come

A fantastic tour led by a very knowledgeable and experienced tour guide who knows the area inside out. Overall it was great. The only issue was the tour company promised a refund for our Uber taxi fare but despite my enquiries a few time I never received a reply which is totally unacceptable. So watch out if they promise you a refund when making a booking.

Yosemite Tour was great. Tour guide was knowledgeable, friendly and very accommodating. Radisson stay the night before was scary in the run down dirty hotel.

The Yosemite portion was beautiful. Mick was a great guide and Bonnie was a fun driver to get us to Mick. The train and bus portions were okay, we got where we needed to be, but some of the station areas were not in great condition.

Tour vehicle was very uncomfortable. Tour operator is scamming an extra 100 from me for extra room charge for being single. According to hotel they charge the same for 1 person or 3 people. The Yosemite tour was lovely though and the driver was knowledgeable.
