I had a few hours to spare on my business trip and wanted to see a few sites in Los Angeles from someone who is local and will drive. This was a great solution. The tour guide was knowledgeable about the spots and gave good narrative while we drove around town.

Experience was not what we expected.
Our tour guide was nice but we were picked in his old personal truck and drove around the city with the windows down.
He did stop to take our picture quickly by the Hollywood sign, but that was the only stop despite the disruption showing more stops. Very misleading , but I guess we did get to see Hollywood.

I couldn't see anything. I sat in the front seat, and my view was the area between the roof of the van and the top of windshield. I spent $80+ to see the interior of a van. It is the job of the company to make sure that EVERY passenger can see the landscape at least 80% of the time, not 0%. Thankfully my husband took pics of things because by the time we drove past something, it was a blur. Because I couldn't see anything, I watched the driver drive. Driver needs a handsfree mic. Also, driver needs a Playlist so he stops driving and being on his phone at the same time. Illegal U-turns. Started late. Advertised as a 2.5 hour experience. Not that long. The stop to take a pic of the Hollywood sign was NOT in a safe location. Meaning the only way to get a decent pic was to stand IN THE MIDDLE OF A BUSY ROAD. NOT recommending this tour company.

This tour was not as expected nor explained when we purchased it. It was a private tour with a tour guide in his personal SUV just our family. We basically did a lot of riding around while he pointed out attractions and had a bathroom and coffee break. Our driver was very nice and courteous, but this is not the trip or tour expected per the description given by the agent on the phone.

Seeing a lot of sites that we were familiar with but probably wouldn't have been able to navigate through Hollywood to see them all. Armond was extremely friendly and knowledgeable. Beverly hills was not what we expected. Hollywood sign was awesome and we got some great picks.

This tour was unpleasant from beginning to end. The tour guide was unapologetically late by 40 minutes and decided to complete the tour 40 minutes early due to his tardiness (wasted our time and money). After his unprofessionalism, he expected a $10 tip. Also, bring a sweater or jacket because this tour bus is open (no windows) just a makeshift roof. Overall, the tour was forgettable and lackluster. I recommend paying more elsewhere for a day tour; scan over the reviews before you book.

I felt our tour was incomplete and rushed. We were taken to a distant location from the Hollywood sign to get a picture with the sign in the far distance. Hollywood tour was very rushed; we past rodeo drive by an outside street etc.

We rescheduled based on the driver’s request with the promise of additional sites, but this “half day” tour ended in less than two hours with no additional sites.
The van was dated with small windows and the references were quite dated.

Showed up for our scheduled tour at 1:45 for our 2 PM tour, after driving 1 hour from Newport Beach only to have them tell us they can't take us at 2 and to wait until 4. Are you freaking serious??? Why bother requiring people to book a specific time if you can't fulfill it??? My family was PISSED and we will NEVER book through Viator ever again. The refund didn't make up for lost time and a terrible experience on our vacation. Do a better job vetting your tour operators!!!!

During peak summer months, we try to accommodate our guests with the best scheduling possible. On occasion during weekends and holidays, it is possible to have a short delay of one hour, or in the longest time, up to a two hour waiting period. We try our best to avoid these situations which are not common, even during the peak summer season.

Our guide, Roger was top notch. He was quite capable at leading groups of people on a truly memorable excursion in some very unique settings. This trip was well worth the earlier miscommunication prior to tour starting. I would definitely recommend it anyone considering to book such a tour.

First of all, this was slated as a “tour in a luxury vehicle.” The van was an old dodge van and light years away from from luxury. The cup holder slid around the floor and we had to pass it up and down the aisle to get our coffee…
We were not shown a single celebrity home. Saw very little of Beverly Hills. There was limited knowledge by tour guide, just very broad and general info like “rock n roll bands stayed there and threw bottles out the window or there’s a lot of fun had in Hollywood…”
After the tour my son said we would have had more fun if we just drove and didn’t talk… that statement sums up our experience well…
Completely wasted several hours and over $350 on this tour. You’re better off finding a double decker open air bus tour where they actually show you Beverly Hills, celebrity homes and have more specific and fun information…

We had a horrible experience because of the weather, however, the tour company should be better prepared for these types of conditions. Having poncho’s, umbrellas or having a closed in van would have made our experience so much better! We did tip our guide Roger very well as we knew it wasn’t his fault. We were also disappointed with the tour because most of the homes were previously owned by any such celebrities… would have been much better if we saw homes that were currently lived in by celebrities.
