This was an amazing experience. We were warmly welcomed by the hosts, a lovely couple that own the husky farm. They were so friendly and talked a lot about the huskies and their life in Lapland. I liked that there was a small group rather than a coach full. There were 3 couples going on the husky ride so when we arrived it was all set up ready to go and we went out one after the other. The ride was 20 minutes each. While waiting we chatted to the lady and saw the other husky’s. There was also a beautiful wooden hut where we could warm by the fire and the waiting time went quickly and was very enjoyable. After the rides were complete we stayed in the hut and enjoyed some berry juice, traditional rice pie and other treats made by the hosts.
We were wrapped in blankets while in the sledge and the tour was so fun. The views were stunning. The huskies are very well looked after and so friendly. It was nice to pet them after the tour.
Definitely recommend this trip! Absolutely loved it
