Overview
While many snowmobile experiences offer short rides through the wilderness, this half-day tour takes travelers to husky dogs and reindeer farms for sled and sleigh rides. After hotel pickup, hop aboard your 2-seater snowmobile and ride through snowy landscapes to a reindeer farm to meet the animals and take a short sleigh ride. Then, meet and greet a team of huskies at a dog farm and take a slightly longer dogsled ride with them.

- Please note: in order to drive a snowmobile, a valid drivers license is required.
- 2 adults share 1 snowmobile, single driving is available as supplement for adults
- Children 1-13 years old are seated in a sledge behind the guide’s snowmobile. We recommend one of the parents to sit with a small child in the sledge for the child’s safety.
- If a child over 140 cm wishes to sit in a snowmobile as a passenger, a full adult price will be charged (according to availability).
- Children under 2 year old are not recommended to join this tour.
- The snowmobile driver is responsible for any damages to the vehicle, with a maximum personal self-liability of 950€ per person per snowmobile in case of an accident. Additional insurance can be purchased on site for 15€, reducing self-liability to 150€. This insurance must be purchased before the start of the tour.

There is a LOT of waiting around. Advertised as 5 hour activity but you really only spend 1.5 hours actually doing anything!
Nobody really knew what was going on except the family who owned the husky farm and they seemed very frustrated with the poor organisation from the experience company.
It was really fun and our whole family enjoyed it but it really wasn’t as action packed as advertised.
Go prepared to be standing in -20 for multiple hours. Kids were crying - take hand and feet warmers.
This could all be avoided and shortened if they split the group up more effectively and you could easily get through the activities in 3 hours, freeing up time for everyone and lessening the time standing around.

Absolutely fantastic experience from.start to finish. Alec ans Lex were great hosts, gave us very informative facts, interesting information about Levi and the animals we were visiting. They organised the trip really well, the transport was immaculate and well timed to the local venues we were visiting. Both the reindeer and husky experiences were second to none, getting to meet the animals too and pet them was very special.
Lunch was served in a very quirky and cosy cabin. The soup and dessert provided were delicious and it's always nice experiencing local foods.
Finally, to round off the trip we were taken snowmobiling. Despite the cold they made sure our children were wrapped up warm and took us across a brilliant track to get some lovely pictures as a family. On returning the children had a whizz around the minute snowmobiling track and had a fantastic time.
I highly reccomend this trip for anybody visiting Levi, all round brilliant experience! Thank you.

The rides are a bit short but are still good if you have a tight schedule in your trip. There was a big group of people joining this tour and you need to expect to wait for 30min for other people to finish their ride before or after yours. Also, the day we were joining was extremely cold but we were asked to stay outdoor for 10-15 mins for the husky rides. The farm should have better arrangement.

The whole day was great. From crazy dogs who couldn’t wait to race around the track just dragging us along, to a smooth, calm ride with the reindeer followed by a fun ride on the snow mobiles. Staff were great too, helpful, fun and happy to answer any questions along the way.

The farm was beautiful. Huskies pulled our sleigh pretty fast. However, the reindeer sleigh was interesting. I think it could've been shorter since these animals are much slower than huskies and we were freezing just sitting in a sleigh for 20+ minutes, I believe. On the other hand, the snowmobile was amazing! We had a blast driving it and the scenery was picturesque. Simply gorgeous.

We had an incredible time on this excursion. The husky and reindeer rides were great fun, followed by a snow mobile ride at the end. Our guide Ray was really friendly and professional and kept us entertained while waiting our turn for the sleigh and sledge rides. It really was a perfect way to spend a day in Levi.

This trip was not as magical as we expected.
We were not taken by snowmobile to reindeer and husky farm over amazing landscapes (as advertised),
over 40 people on one trip, not the max 20 as advertised so we spent approx 3 hours queuing and waiting around for turns, husky’s not as pictured and having experienced husky rides before, this was the worst ever. The dogs were going where they wanted and it was very slow, not what you expect and I actually think they were overworked. We spent over an hour waiting in the middle of kennels, i Can still smell it now! The reindeer were nice but felt a bit like a donkey ride at Blackpool. The toilet facilitates are outside, nowhere to change a baby. The restaurant advertised is a fire hut, which was lovely but a Smokey hut with over 50 people trying to keep warm wasn’t great. We had to end the trip before any snowmobile activity and despite registering a complaint immediately, am still waiting to hear anything back. I never complain about anything but the marketing and what is expected as per the advert is nothing like what we got and what was delivered. I actually cried after this trip. It was the final one for our holiday and I had booked for my husbands 50th. Almost 700$ to smell like pee and wait about for 3 hours!! Make sure you get Siberian husky’s trip and avoid this one! I’d hate for anyone else to go through what we have.

We called, emailed or messaged all our guests about the fact that there was not enough snow to allow going to the farm by snowmobile in the beginning of December. This year the snow was very late and that is why we had to modify your activity and do snowmobiling after the husky and reindeer farm visit. We are very sorry if we didn’t manage to reach you to explain the situation before hand or if there has been a misunderstanding.
We also apologies if you had to wait at the farm. Many people visit Lapland in December and unfortunately, you came at the busy time and waiting time is to be expected. While waiting for the husky sledge ride, kids can play in the snow, and you can ask questions about the huskies or the region to your guide, so the waiting time is not boring. Unfortunately, dogs don’t smell like roses, that is the joy of outdoor animals. In this husky farm, dogs get two days off a week, they also need to run a certain amount of time per day to use all the energy they have. But if the temperatures are higher, they run slower. Their speed really depends on the weather conditions. Alaskan Huskies are the main breed of dogs we have in Lapland, they are a cross breed between Siberian huskies, greyhounds and more. Husky farms usually have both Alaskan huskies and pure breed Siberian huskies.
The place where you were eating is a Kota and a very typical Lappish place to eat and warm up, it is quite normal to experience some smoke.

Fabulous family day of husky & Reindeer rides and snowmobiling driving. Very well organised and guides were very helpful and friendly and were great with the kids. Also told us lots of fun facts about Lapland.

I'd start by saying all the staff at arctic snowmobile park were lovely and Erica our guide was wonderful in difficult circumstances. The snowmobile part was also lovely and that is clearly their area of expertise. We went to polar lights company for the husky and reindeer part in a minivan. Unfortunately the booking must have been done wrong by someone there or at asp. We were there with 2 huge coachloads of other guests from Inghams, im guessing 150 guests at least (who were also grumpy and i've learnt got 50% off after they all complained about the trip), we waited for 30 mins in the car park of plc whilst all the ingham guests went in, nobody explained what was happening or where we were going, everyone then had to queue for 4 husky sledges for 180 people which just went round a track, one set of guests after another. We were at the husky and reindeer Park for about 3 hours and did a 5 min husky ride and 5 min reindeer ride, nobody let us stroke, feed or pet the animals, nobody told us any information about them, the rest of the time we just stood and waited in the cold queue or by a fire if we were lucky. There was not much arctic snowmobile park or Erica could do about this as it wasn't their centre but my children were starving as no food was provided and everyone got grumpy. They didn't offer a refund but did let us move the childrens snowmobile track to the next day as we needed to get them fed and my little girl was so exhausted she slept through the beautiful snowmobile ride over frozen lakes. I hope all the admin is better for the next guests, it just wasn't as magical as I'd hoped or heard from people doing other excursions at tundra/eanan etc who played with husky puppies and fed the reindeer or toasted sausages over a fire for lunch.... would definitely recommend the snowmobiling part though, brilliant fun, very safe and well organised and good quality guides and machines.

On the other hand, we are very sorry your experience at the husky and reindeer farm wasn’t as expected.
We go with small groups to the reindeer and husky farm, but they also have guests from other companies going to visit them. Although it shouldn’t be that we were there at the same time as two big coachloads, meaning the Inghams groups were probably late on their schedule, which shouldn’t happen. We are very sorry you had to wait. While waiting for the husky sledge ride, kids can play in the snow and you can ask questions about the huskies or the region to your guide so the waiting time is not boring. While waiting for the reindeer ride, you can pet the reindeers that are nearby.
As specified in the activity description, the reindeer ride is 500m and the husky ride is brief as husky run rather fast. It should be that you can pet the huskies after your ride to say thank you to them, and other dogs somewhere in the kennel. We are sorry if it wasn’t the case that day.

Ein toller Ausflug , auch wenn nicht ganz günstig. Die Rentierfahrt sowie die Husky Fahrt sind natürlich kurz. Aber zum rein schnuppern absolut ausreichend. Nach den beiden Fahrten gibt es eine Pause in einer Holzhütte mit drei Suppen zur Auswahl. Dazu Kaffe oder Tee und einen Nachtisch.
Wenn man die Schneemobilfahrt mit dazu gebucht hat , fährt man damit auch eine Stunde.
Die angebenen 5 Stunden sind nicht die reine Spass Zeit. Husky 5 min Fahrt. Rentier 5 min Fahrt. Der Rest ist pause oder bei großen Gruppen Wartezeit.

L'activité ne dure que 3 heures et non 4 comme annoncée.
Nous pensions aller en motoneige à la ferme mais malheureusement ça n'était pas les cas!
Nous partons en van jusqu'à une ferme de rennes et de chiens (1/4 h de route).
On vous emmène faire un tour de traineau avec rennes. 4 traineaux sont attachés les uns aux autres et une personne fait avancer le premier. (ça rappelait les ballades de poneys pour enfant!). La ballade ne dure que 5 mn environ.
Tour de traineau avec chiens: Très sympa mais très rapide aussi!!! Perso; je n'ai pas vraiment adhérer à voir ces chiens attachés pour nous tirer et tous ces chiens enfermés dans des cages avec pour seul jeu, une boule de neige pour 5/6 petits chiens!
On nous offre une boisson chaude ainsi que de la brioche dans une petite maisonnette avec un feu.
On repart en van pour faire un tour de motoneige.
Les points positifs de cette sortie: rencontre d'un sami qui a la ferme de rennes et la gentillesse de l'équipe d'Artic Circle Snowmobile Park!
