- Due to the weather conditions (lack of the snow coat) in the beginning of the season (01.11 - 01.12) the farm may not be able to put the sledge on the reindeers/huskies, since it may damage their paws
- This tour/activity will have a maximum of 30 travelers

Our guide Reines was amazing, very polite, friendly and helpful
Really disappointed with the husky ride, having been on one two years previous and thoroughly enjoyed the experience (with a different company) we decided to book a husky ride again and having found this 5km ride decided to book it. We found the dogs really really slow, it was like a Sunday afternoon stroll, no excitement or exhilarating experienced with these dogs, the rest of the group had to wait for us to catch up all the time and I spent most of it using my foot to push in the snow to keep the dogs moving. It felt a complete waste of almost £400 although the talk and drink in the yurt at the end was enjoyable.

On the day of your tour, there was a lot of fresh snow, and the warmer temperatures (around 0°C) made the trail heavier and more challenging for the huskies to pull at their usual speed. These conditions can significantly impact their pace.

We recently went on the "2 Hour Husky Safari," and while the experience was fantastic overall, there were some aspects worth noting. Due to an unforeseen issue, our original booking had to be rescheduled. The communication about this change was prompt and efficient, with the option to change dates or receive a refund, which we appreciated.
The interaction with the huskies, both at the farm and during the ride, was incredible. These dogs are truly amazing, and it was fascinating to see the farm with over 100 huskies and learn from the knowledgeable and friendly guides. The ride itself, however, was much shorter than expected. I had interpreted the description to mean the husky ride would last two hours, but in reality, the ride lasted about 30 minutes, including a lap around a field and some scenic trails. The rest of the time was spent walking around the farm and enjoying the included hot berry juice and cookies, which were a nice touch.
Driving the sled yourself was an exciting challenge and added to the fun – be ready for a bit of a workout! While it was one of the highlights of our trip and a memorable experience, I do feel the description on Viator could be clearer about the actual duration of the husky ride itself to manage expectations better.
All in all, it was a fun and unique adventure. If you’re looking for a short but sweet husky ride with an up-close encounter with these incredible dogs, this is worth it!

Amazing experience! Me and my husband and my 4 year old daughter did this trip. I have to say we diddnt realise we would be driving the sled with the husky’s ourselves but it really was the best experience and we wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The whole trip from start to finish was perfect. The forest and landscape where the 5k runs through is picturesque and truly amazing. It was about minus 20 so wrap up warm and we took our skiing goggles too and we weren’t cold. Worth every penny!
