Overview
Chase the fabled Aurora Borealis, otherwise known as the Northern Lights, on a 4-hour evening trip to Lake Inari from Ivalo. Travel into the countryside, and settle into a comfortable snowmobile-pulled sleigh to ride to the lake. Absorb the snowy woodlands cloaked in darkness, and pull up at the frozen lakeside. Watch for the natural light show, enjoy the silent beauty of the wilderness, and visit a small island for a delicious dinner and hot drinks by a campfire. Maksim is a lovely and kind guide who took care of our group of 8 very well. We received proper warm clothing, shoes and gloves and off we went to Lake Inari on a snowmobile safari which was a fabulous experience.
Dinner was provided in a local island hut with fire and hot drinks, after feeding the reindeers.
After dinner the polar lights magically appeared on the sky and delivered an unforgettable show which we won’t forget anytime soon
Thanks for the beautiful memories, we felt well looked after by Maksim, highly recommended, regardless of the steep price point, it’s worth it!

I found the whole experience well-run, professional and very organised. Everyone was efficient. The only unexpected experience occurred at the start of the trip, because we had to change into snowsuits, snow boots and helmets.
The ride on the lake was cold and windy, but very atmospheric. The couple that run this tour were great hosts, and the hot berry juice and hot food were appreciated. Mid-way through our meal (cooked by the hostess), we were alerted to go outside, as the host had spotted aurora activity.
I highly recommend this trip, and I would definitely book this again, if I ever visit Ivalo again.

Great your, our guide was excellent, very knowledgeable, kind and friendly. The food was really good (salmon soup, hot berries juice, dessert ) and the view was amazing.

Gut organisierte Tour, sehr freundlicher Guide. Uns wurde warme Kleidung zur Verfügung gestellt, wir wurden abgeholt, sind mit dem Schlitten gefahren und haben im Zelt eine einfaches und leckeres Essen erhalten. Wir hatten grosses Glück und konnten über lange Zeit die Polarlichter sehen.

Exceptionnel, cette soirée a était superbe, nous avons eu la chance d’avoir des aurores boréales et les accompagnateurs ont été fantastiques. Aux petits soins, des discussions, des anecdotes et un repas sous un tipi avec des gens sympathiques, seul petit regret, j’ai perdu la photo avec les aurores boréales et je n’ai pas eu de réponse de la part de Laura

Una experiencia única. En medio de la nada viendo aparecer las auroras. El guía muy amable y colaborador haciéndonos las fotos. Grupo reducido de 6 personas que favorece la comunicación. Una noche mágica para guardar en la retina. Espero poder vivirla de nuevo

Tina, ihr Mann und Neffe haben uns in zwei Touren begleitet.
Es war sehr authentisch, weit weg vom Massentourismus, sehr individuell.
Sie haben uns alles gezeigt, alles sehr harmonisch und haben sich Zeit genommen. Im Tippi Zelt gab es selbstgemachte heiße Suppe, Tee, Brot, Würstchen und Kuchen. Die Fahrt mit dem Schlitten ist eine super Erfahrung. Wir hatten viel Spaß. Lieben Dank!

You thought you had booked REINDEER SAFARI, you had not read the tour description, only word reindeer. You did ruin 30 minutes of the tour for other guests when you were screaming that why there is no reindeer ride.
Next time when booking a tour please read the tour descriction.

No pudimos ver la Aurora porque estaba muy nublado pero la experiencia es muy buena, la cena también estuvo muy bien y si llega a estar despejado y vemos alguna Aurora hubiera sido espectacular porque el lago es impresionante
