We will take breaks during the ride, so you can take out your camera and photograph the outstanding nature and landscapes. Enjoy a complete visit of an authentic reindeer farm, meet the herders and their animals, learn about their lifestyles and reindeer husbandry. As it is the first visit of the day, you will also get the chance to feed the reindeers with some of their favourite food directly from your hands. This is a great chance to approach the animals too, as reindeer are still very wild. After the feeding time, herders will take you in a kota, a traditional wooden house, to explain you more about their lifestyle around the fire. Cookies and hot drinks will also be served, as the herders answer all your questions.

Animal lovers will enjoy this tour of the Ranua Zoo, an open-air Arctic zoo in Lapland. You’ll have the chance to encounter up to 200 animal and bird species as you walk the roughly 1.5 mile (2.5 kilometer) trail around the zoo.
