      Incredible Tour, Mediocre Meal

      Jasmin_P, Jul 2026
The tour itself was incredible and very informative. The guides were fantastic, especially Captain Jack, who really made the experience memorable with his enthusiasm and knowledge. That said, I don't feel the overall package justified the price. While I understand you're paying for the unique experience of having your food cooked using the heat from the volcano, the meal itself was quite mediocre. For over £100, the food was essentially a selection of meats—chicken, pork, and sausage—along with a tomato and a pepper. The portion size was fine, but it didn't feel like a complete meal and was very heavily meat-based, which made it a little underwhelming for the price. On a positive note, drinks were included, and the staff were attentive and more than happy to keep your glass topped up throughout the experience. Overall, visiting the park is an absolute must if you're in Lanzarote, and the tour is well worth doing for the scenery, the fascinating information, and the excellent guides. However, I do think the package would offer much better value if the price were lower or the dining experience better reflected the price paid.

      mass-tourism machine

      Melvyn_C, Mar 2026
The bus tour through Timanfaya National Park was absolutely fantastic. The volcanic landscapes are breathtaking and discovering this unique environment was truly worth it. The only downside was the limited space on the bus — the seats are quite tight, and many people, especially taller passengers, were clearly uncomfortable and complaining during the ride. Unfortunately, the dinner at El Diablo Restaurant completely ruined the experience. The experience is extremely overpriced for what was offered. The food was mediocre, with cheap wine, cheap sangria, and nothing that justified the price. The whole setup feels like a mass-tourism machine: groups are processed one after another, and we were seated at a shared table with strangers without being informed beforehand — apparently the idea of a “nice dinner after visiting a volcano” means eating shoulder-to-shoulder with random tourists while being moved along as efficiently as possible. Aside from the impressive exterior architecture, the restaurant itself is quite basic. In short: visiting Timanfaya is absolutely worth it, but the dinner experience feels like an overpriced tourist trap disguised as a special evening. One star.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re pleased to hear that you found the volcanic landscapes of Timanfaya impressive and the visit worthwhile. We’re sorry that some aspects did not fully meet your expectations. Regarding the dinner, we usually receive very positive feedback. We would like to highlight that this experience includes exclusive access without queues, a unique stop along the volcano route, and a dinner in a truly special setting, elements that are not available during daytime visits and are reflected in the overall value of the tour. We appreciate your comments as part of our ongoing commitment to continuous improvement.

      Amazing Place Terrible Guide

      Nicola_L, Jan 2026
Amazing place Terrible Guide . The place itself was stunning and unique. The guide was terrible , rude and incompetent. Did not speak much English, got confused with their list of passengers to the point where people were told to get off the coach at various points ( including a family with children on top of the Volcano at the restaurant on the dark ). This took a hour and a half. Rushed through the volcano experience No tour just drive around in silence until they could work the recording ( 30 seconds at the end ) and told everyone not to mention what happened on this tour. Will not be booking another Victor tour ever again.

A really different way to experience the volcano. Away from the hustle and bustle of the day. Beautiful watching the sunset as we traveled through the volcano. Knowledgable tour guide and lovely bus driver.

if you can eat 3 courses in an hour go for it!

      Sandra_B, Nov 2025
National Park is a definitly a must when visiting Lanzarote, but take a day trip, unless your happy to eat 3 courses in an hour, the waiting staff were definitely on a mission to get us in and out as quickly as possible they were like a well oiled machine , unlucky for us we were on the last bus , so were last to be seated for our meal this may have had an impact on the speediness of our service, our advice definitly go to the national park absolutely awesome, but dine back in your resort .

      Response from Host, Nov 2025

Thank you for sharing your experience! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed the National Park – it truly is one of Lanzarote’s most amazing spots. We’re sorry the pace of the meal felt a bit rushed, especially being on the last bus of the day. Your feedback is really valuable, and we’ll keep it in mind to improve. We hope to see you again soon on another excursion, so you can relax and enjoy every moment!

The Timanfaya is unique and spectacular. The route and the explanations of the Jack guide have been exhaustive and alismo time enjoyable. It was so worth it that I put five stars on it even though the dinner wasn't good

      Beautiful experience

Nice experience. Good driver and tour guide. Timanfaya is very nice; especially the part where we were allowed off the bus. Food was tasty and ample. Tip: long pants and possibly vest (it is windy and cold in the evening).
