The trek takes place in the Volcanoes Natural Park, which surrounds the Timanfaya National Park, a unique volcanic landscape formed after the eruptions that occurred since 1730 for six years, which transformed the island of Lanzarote. Thanks to environmental protection and the arid climate, the landscape remains almost intact, like a natural museum of volcanic rocks.
During the route, visitors cross lava castings and climb volcanic cones where they can see canals, tubes, lava lakes and craters, as well as watching life slowly resurface over the lava. The visit allows us to understand the inner forces of the Earth and what the planet was like millions of years ago.
The walk is easy level, lasts about 3 hours, has a 7 km ride and is suitable for children from 7 years.
