Amazing experience definitely a must do. Divers were very experienced, knowledgable and informative, explaining very relevant information in an understandable way. And very patient - as an apprehensive diver who didn’t think I would dive past 1 meter they calmed me enough to dive the full 12-14 meters for which I cannot thank them enough. The explanation of the sculptures was informative also.

We had a wonderful experience. Both my daughter and I were extremely nervous, but I can honestly say we were given full confidence and support every step. When we thought we couldn’t do it we were calmed and relaxed so we could make the dive. Everything went smoothly and was an experience I would recommend with this company.

what an absolutely amazing experience this was! i was very nervous but the instructors were calming me down and making me feel safe! they were really keeping a close eye on all of us and everyone in the group were able to dive with no problems. the instructors were just amazing, because of them this was an enjoyable and memorable experience. the museum has meaningful sculptures. we were able to see lots of beautiful fishes as well. worth of every penny!

It's not the first time I've gone diving, but this experience was one of the best. The staff is very professional and friendly. Steve took great photographs, and the other team members were very supportive and nice.
The diving itself is amazing. The museum is mysterious and breathtaking. Even the trip to the museum by boat was very enjoyable. With all the equipment on and other divers on board, you feel like part of a seal team. 😊 It's a challenging experience, so you need to have good food and proper sleep beforehand. Overall, I'm very happy and thankful to the team for such good vibes 👍

Absolutely outstanding staff. Very professional. 1 thing I would suggest is someone with a basket so customers can wear sliders or flip-flops to walk to the water. All in all a fantastic day.

On the 7th of August we went for the Museo tour in Lanzarote. For me it was the second time for an ocean dive but the last time was long ago. For my mate it was the first time so we took the beginners course.
We were welcomed at 10 and had a training for about 30 minutes at the shore. All the info was given clear and to reassure everyone. After the training we went with 2 ribs to the museo and it was really nice to see everything.
During the dive there were 4 instructors for the whole group of 10 people so it was very save to do. We have seen all the statues and even saw an octopus.
For us it was a life time experience.
In my opinion it is something you have to do during the stay in Lanzarote.

Unfortunately, it was an unpleasant experience.
1) They did not inform that they will give a form to fill in where you have to confirm that, e.g. you do not have any heart, lung conditions, which is obvious, but also did not have any ear problems, recurring sinusitis, are not on any prescription medication, do not have any mental issues, like depression, anxiety, etc. If you answer yes, you can not dive. It would be highly appreciated if this information was given before purchasing experience on Viator.
2) They explained some signs that they use while diving and then started using some other signs like for breathing in/out, that we were not aware about, because they just did not explain what these signs mean.
3) Instructors were very impatient. They did not explain how to dive or go up properly to learn diving itself but pushed you around instead.
4) Atlantic museum experience took about 15 minutes including diving down to 12 meters and up. Diving up 3 minutes are required to stop in the middle of the way. So there is not only any time to properly see sculptures but also you are constantly pushed around to go as fast as possible. I do not think that even professional divers go through the museum so quickly.
5) They explain that we would dive slowly, as it is important to equalize ears at every meter, and would always ask if everything is okay, but actually they do not listen when you say that something is wrong, only when you repeat the same 4 times or more, and just keep pushing you down.
6) A half of the group could not dive because of some issues, ear not equalizing, stress, etc. so they were waiting swimming around or in the boat. Some people coming back were not feeling fine, they felt nauseous, or had trouble breathing. There were cases when they felt that they did not have enough air to breath. Interestingly that oxygen tanks were not full, they just filled them in for those 15 minutes.
7) When we wanted to check photos taken during diving, a guy showed them very fast without looking at the screen, so most of them were not even loaded, and we could not see them.
I would recommend to think twice before purchasing this experience. This is not for beginners. Or what they mean by saying beginners is they give you equipment and push you around to see museum. Better invest more time in learning proper diving basics, which I expected to learn here, but did not, and then visit Atlantic museum, then you could properly enjoy it.

Hello, we are sorry that you did not like the day. I try to answer your question below.
1) This is a standard medical questionnaire that every dive centre has to use. It is to see if people are fit to dive. The questions are made by hyperbaric doctors, not by us. With VIATOR booking you are asked that you need to be fit before going diving
2) In this program you learn that you can say that you are ok. That you can say that you want to go up and that you can say that you can not equalize your ears.
3) Sorry if it felt like that. You do not learn how to control your buoyancy. It is a discover scuba program and not a full course. We control your ascent and descent rate.
4) We never had a dive there from 12 min. We always show you all the statues. To wait at each statue is not possible. If you could give us the date of your dive then we have a record of the exact time of the dive. All the instructors have dive computers that store the depth and time of each dive.
5) If a diver can not equalize he normally tried 3 or 4 times. If it does not work you better stop the dive. It is unlikely that an instructor is pushing a diver down who can not equalize their ears
6) We don't know what day you dived. We have days that everybody does the complete program and we have days that some people stop for different reasons. That can be ear problems or stress. Not everybody likes to dive.
We can not fill the tanks for just a 15 min dive. The tanks are always filled to the max of 200 bar in our case. They have no oxygen in them but normal breathing air that we breathe every day. There would not be any reason or advantage to fill a tank only for a few min. Tanks are always filled to their maximum pressure.
7) sorry if the photos were sown too fast and you could not see them. This way we probably don't sell a lot of photos.

What an experience! I was incredibly nervous as this was my first time scuba diving but the instructors (especially Martha) were very patient with and spent extra time making sure I was okay. Museum was good but the instructors make this experience. I would definitely recommend

Awesome experience! We had certified divers (although over 5 years since previous dive) and one newbie so we decided that the taster would work well as a refresher and as a great intro. Took us around 6m max and saw loads of fish.
Next dive at the Museum was amazing - it was a really unique experience. The instructors were relaxed because we were relaxed divers - if anyone else in the group isn’t the instructors have to act accordingly.
All in all really great, thanks guys!
