A superb day out tailored to our needs. A lovely mix of exploring the area by boat and walking with great food and a knowledgeable tour guide who was a joy to be around!

Elena, our guide was so personable and knew so much about Bellagio, the Villa and all of the cute surrounding little towns on the lake. It was pouring rain and she managed to provide us the best tour. We loved the restaurant we went to for lunch. It was a hidden gem. Somewhere we would not have found on our own. We had a wonderful time on this tour.

Our tour with Rita was one of the best I’ve ever had (and there have been many!). Rita grew up in Bellagio and knew everybody in town. We saw parts of the town that tourists don’t ever get to; we had a fabulous hilltop lunch; and she literally got the “keys to the castle” at Villa del Balbianelli and gave us a private tour. She was funny, personable and knowledgeable.

Elena was beautiful and kind , warm and welcoming. The whole tour was especially wonderful because of her passion for Lake Como, it's history , it's food and it's people. An incredible, local experience exploring the streets of Bellagio and passageways in the Lake Como area. Elena was incredibly personal and invited each guest to share about themselves as part of the experience. She taught us about hidden treasures on the Lake, and brought us to sample a few (pastries, lake fish, cappuccino). We absolutely loved spending our time learning more about the area and visiting the gorgeous Villa Balbienello. Highly reccomend and would be fortunate to experience another tour with Elena if we return (🤞🏻) in the future! Thank you Elena!!

Our tour guide Sabrina was amazing. So knowledgeable and kind. We got rained on but the tour continued. She spent all day with us and was a fount of information. Loved seeing the inside of the Villa Del Balbianello. Really incredible gardens m, architecture and furnishings. I didn’t realize half the day was a walking tour of Bellagio. So be ready for that.

We enjoyed seeing the villa gardens and the hamlets of Bellagio. Our guide also gave us a history of the craftsmanship in the area as well which we enjoyed. The weather was poor on the day we went but I assume that the tour would be more spectacular on nice days.
Be prepared for lots of walking.
We went back the next day to take advantage of the shopping!

It was an 8 hr fabulous tour of some of the best Lake Como had to offer !
Sabrina has the most wonderful personality and made the day perfect and was extremely knowledgeable about the area. Our lunch was magnificent with a gorgeous view and the Bablenieo mansion house n garden tour was wonderful. The entire day was perfect! We were thrilled! I highly recommend asking for her specifically and this tour! She loves her job and it shows. We travel constantly all over the world and this tour is definitely worth your time and money. Thank you thank !
I must advise VIATOR however-
I initially made reservations for a private tour similar to this one 9 months ago.
A woman named Violetta contacted 2 weeks ago and canceled 3 of my private tours stating because I made reservations so early she canceled them. I re scheduled them immediately and she cancelled a second time stating I had to do group tours and my guides were all suck 2 weeks ahead of time…suspicious I think! So I rescheduled group tours - luckily I got Sabrina and it was basically a private tour and it was perfect
But I warn you about greedy Violetta! She should be let go!
I made reservations 9 months inadvance to secure private tours because I do not hear well and appreciate personal service. Please do something about this unprofessionalism-
It is uncalled for and the first time in the 12 years I have used VIATOR I have been disappointed with them-
But I loved Sabrina and her tour!

Thank you Holly for your nice review. Sabrina enjoyed herself as well with you. This tour was booked on the 9th of July 2022 and the tour was on the 22nd. I don't know who is Violetta and I got only one booking request from you or your travel consultant. I am the only owner of this travel agency (Elena Pettinicchio) and Sabrina works for me. I usually guide these tours myself but I was abroad last week and she helped me with my clients. Enjoy the rest of your holiday in Italy and looking forward to meeting you as well next time. Bellagio and Villa Balbianello were beautiful; however, personal connection to event created memorable experience. Elena introduced us to the local history, culture, friends, foods, and the hidden hangouts. We had great experience from the tour.
