- Civitavecchia Port Directions: After you have collected your luggages, head trough custom and out in the arrival hall. Your driver will be waiting just outside the arrival hall holding a signboard with lead traveller name on it.
- in the unlikely event that you cannot locate the driver at the meeting point, or if you are delayed in customs, immigration, baggage collection or lost luggage, it is your responsibility to call the emergency number or send an email to make contact. If you fail to call the emergency contact number within 30 minutes of the actual landing time for airport collections, and as such the service provider is not made aware of the problem, the service will be considered a no show.

The driver was early, in order to make sure he wasn’t late, which worked out perfectly for us. The vehicle was very nice and clean. There was room for a large suitcase, a rolling suitcase/garment bag, and two roller carryon bags. More would’ve fit if needed. The driver was friendly and professional. We would definitely book this service again.

Scheduled this service to be picked up after a 10 day cruise on Royal Caribbean. Scheduled the driver for 7am we were let off the ship exactly at 630am and the driver came at 645. We arrive at FCO at 740am plenty enough time for our 11am flight back to the states.

Friendly, courteous, and on time. In fact, our driver arrived early because he was concerned about heavy traffic due to the transportation strike. We disembarked from the ship early and our driver was already there so no longer wait for us. So convenient. Thank you!!

Didnt send English speaking driver. He was driving so slow because he was also texting/ looking at his phone while driving?! Then dropped us off far from our terminal. Never said thank you.
Fyi: Taxi is only $130 flat rate to/ from port to airport! Wish I had known. Hope this info helps someone else

driver was so slow? what does it means?
driver did not speak english? not all drivers speak english and for a simple transfer the extensive knowledge of english is not mandatory...
your trip from the port to the airport at 8 am took 51 minutes and its the standard time to cover the distance ...

Driver was speeding for much of the trip 160km/hr or 99 mph. This was at least 30mph over the speed limit. It was very scary. After I texted the trip coordinator, he called him and asked him to slow down. $224 to risk life and limb. The coordinator even messaged later that he was not speeding. He most definitely was but did slow down after the coordinator called him.

hello, driver was driving at 130 km/h (we have gps on our cars) that is the speed limit, I did call him and ask to slow down ...

The driver arrived about 15 minutes prior to the time I'd booked, which was great because we actually got off the ship an hour earlier than I'd expected. Outside the terminal where Royal Caribbean had docked, I had super poor cell phone connectivity so trying to modify the pickup time at that point was nearly impossible. The driver had a sign with our name on it and was very friendly and an excellent driver. Overall, this was a very good way to get transported to the Rome airport.

The driver was incredibly rude. We were told the night before that we could not get off the ship until 9, when we were originally told 8. We reached out to try to change the time, and they said our driver already had another group at 9. For a private driver, it seemed rushed that he could take us to the airport at 8 and make it to another group on time. The company was able to find us a driver for 9, which was nice, as there were no other drivers available, but it did not make for a great experience to have a driver that was unkind to the group.

*private driver does not mean that driver perform only one job per day .... if you want that driver and vehicle are only for you then a different kind of service need to be booked.
*we did accommodate your last minute amendment
*the unkind driver offered you bottled water, candies for the whole group, assisted with the extra luggages that you "forgot "to inform us about it ... and provided a transportation with a brand new Mercedes Sprinter...

Excellent, stress-free transfer for four of us from right outside the cruise ship exit directly to our airport terminal. He was there early, holding a card with our name, and got us out and on our way ahead of the traffic. Great professional driver, and the vehicle was very clean, air-conditioned, and comfortable. No drama, pleasant transfer. We would definitely use this again.
