This was by far the most comfortable and cost-effective way to get from port to Rome at 15 euro. We only used it one way. The pickup insructions were easy to follow. The drop off point near the terminal was great for us. Would definitely use this again.

The trip is very precise and at an equitable rate. The walk to the bus stop from the shuttle area with all bags was not easy though. On top of this the air conditioning on the bus was just on the edge of comfortable. I would still take this bus again, just for the rate?

Very dependable the buses are very regular and do this route all the time nothing to be concerned about just ask a lot of questions when you get off the ship and they will direct you properly. We were even able to get on the 9 o’clock instead of the 930 which we had booked because there was space they are very friendly and helpful.

Bus ride was great once you actually find the bus stop. As the ticket said, ride the port shuttle to the plaza. I asked at the green windows and the young lady waved towards the street. Bus at 9 over there. No sign, just more confused baggage carrying passengers. There are 3 sets of buses that stop on the street. One to airport, one to Rome Center, one HOHO bus. Waited in WRONG line. Oh, for a sign on the fence next to the sidewalk!

Everything was fine. The so-called bus station isn't really a station but some ticket booths and a few places to sit. We had to walk across the street to get out bus.
Like so much here in Italy, organization is not the strong point. But it was ok.

Dear customer I can agree can always be better. Let's hope it will come the right time.
Not a great experience. The bus driver left all of us standing on the side of the road in a heat wave for nearly an hour for some of us while the bus was parked and running and he sat inside enjoying the AC. The communication was terrible. They loaded everyone all at once which made it a mad rush. And to top it off we got yelled at by the bus driver when we got off for putting our luggage on the wrong side of the bus storage even though nobody commented where it was supposed to be put. TERRIBLE! Wouldn’t book with this company again!

We are sorry that your experience did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points regarding the situation.
The waiting time you mentioned was not due to poor organisation on our part. We operate two departures in the morning, at 9:00 and 9:30, and passengers are required to wait for the departure corresponding to the time booked. If a passenger arrives at the meeting point well in advance, they may have to wait while the first bus is being loaded and prepared for departure. In this case, there are also cafés and other facilities nearby where passengers can comfortably wait and perhaps enjoy a good Roman breakfast.
Regarding the luggage, our driver personally supervises the loading process. The correct allocation of luggage to the appropriate compartment is essential, particularly to ensure a smooth and efficient unloading and delivery process upon arrival in Rome.
That said, we are sorry if the driver raised his voice when pointing out that the luggage had been placed in the wrong compartment. We understand that, in the rush of the moment, the need to speed up operations and minimise waiting times can sometimes make communication sound more abrupt than intended.
We apologise on behalf of the driver and will certainly remind him that, even when operations are hectic, it is important to maintain a calm and courteous tone, as a more agitated way of communicating can easily be perceived negatively by our customers.
We appreciate your feedback and hope, despite this experience, to have the opportunity to welcome you on board one of our buses again in the future.
Excellent service, really modern bus with air conditioning. Was waiting for us on time very friendly staff . Get the free shuttle bus from ship and go to the desk kiosks at the station very simple get your ticket from your app and get them to scan them .

We were very happy with the service and would definitely use them again. Everything went smoothly, and the experience was great overall. The only suggestion I would make is to have more signs, as it was a little difficult to find the location at first. Other than that, everything was excellent!

It was a free for all once you leave the ship. There was zero instructions passed on to us other than a meeting location. You need to board a free shuttle bus to take you off site and then dropped off to fend for yourself.
We were early and could not get on the 0900 shuttle, understanding this issue.
We waited at the ticket window while I walked up again to ask a question and ONLY then did the lady give me a ticket to ride.
We were directed across a large parking lot to streetside to wait for a bus( no numbers)
They apparently over sold the seats so many people were left stranded as they only have two times per day for Vatican and City Centre.
We were not informed about these stops either.
Altogether we wasted 3.5 -4 hours trying to get to our hotel.
I would use any other means to leave the port!

Can't understand though how you missed to read the details clearly listed in the product you have purchased and repetead on your voucher. If you didn't have any concern about what you have purchased you should have cancelled them which is always an allowed procedure. However, we would like to clarify that the situation was caused by a technical issue that was unfortunately beyond our direct control.
Our booking system is connected to external sales portals as this one, and in this particular case, this one particularly, has generated a number of reservations which were transmitted incorrectly after sales for the departure had already been closed. As a company, we never intentionally overbook our services, and we work very hard to ensure that capacity limits are always respected.
Given the significant disruption affecting train services during those days, we were especially careful in managing passenger numbers, which is why this issue came as an unexpected and unwelcome surprise to us as well.
As soon as we identified the problem, we immediately took action to find a solution that would minimize the impact on affected passengers. Rather than simply cancelling the reservations and issuing refunds, we made every effort to arrange alternative transportation to Rome. This involved considerable additional costs on our side, but our priority was to ensure that passengers could continue their journey and avoid the much greater inconvenience that the disruption could have caused.
We fully understand your disappointment, and we share it. We were equally frustrated that bookings were accepted beyond the limits we had established and outside the normal controls of our system.
While we sincerely apologize for the inconvenience, we hope you will appreciate that our focus throughout the incident was on assisting affected passengers and finding practical solutions, rather than leaving them without transportation.

Take the free shuttle (bus) to the bus station...Once there look for a SIT booth to check into. The bus will be located outside the bus station. BEWARE, just because you have a reservation doesn't mean they will have room for you. They over booked our bus and left about 15 of us without a bus. They did find a bus to take us but it would only take us to a train station and not the original arrival spots. It was very frustrating. Our bus was supposed to leave at 0930 and we got in line for the bus at 0905 and were cut off as they were all full.

Like others have said, finding the location/stand of the company is a bit complex. However the bus was clean and it had a/c. My only issue was that we did not leave on time. We left over 20 min late.
Very helpful if you showed the name of the bus company and booth at the bus company that is associated with this ride. We had zero issues, but many did! This bus goes to the. Ativan and Rome train station in the heart of town. It was a 16 minute walk to our hotel

Our bus stop in Civitavecchia is in largo della Pace where is also possible ti find our booth under the brand BUS SHUTTLE and staff to assist you to get on board to Rome. The bus drop off at the Vatican (Via Crescenzio) and Termini Station at Piazza Indipendenza (middle of the square)
Easy and cheap from the port. Others were paying $200 we paid $30 and the bus was waiting for us. Easy to follow directions

Don't book this! Took us 2 1/2 hours to exit the ship. We tried to contact the bus people but no answer & they left us. No refund. Only run a bus at 9 and 9:30. Impossible to get there on time. Wasted our money.

dear customer this review is for the cruise attendance and not for us. We can assure that we travel every day with many cruisers which are leaving exactly at the time booked. We are sorry you experinced a bad organization on your cruise.
At a fantastic price point, this transfer is a great value, though navigating the arrival logistics was a bit tough. It was initially unclear if we would be picked up directly at the port, but when I called for clarification, the staff was incredibly helpful and explained how to use the free port shuttle to reach the station.
Once at the station, the environment was quite chaotic with numerous operators selling services, making it difficult for me and several other confused travelers to find the right desk. After checking in, we also had to walk all the way around the outside of the building to reach our platform.
Fortunately, the on-site staff was just as wonderful as the team on the phone; they were super nice and accommodated us on an earlier bus since we arrived ahead of schedule. The actual ride was smooth and pleasant. My only minor tip is that the Wi-Fi password stickers are too small to read unless you are sitting right next to them—I couldn't even capture the text with a zoomed-in photo and had to ask a fellow passenger. Overall, excellent customer service and value, but better upfront digital directions would make it perfect.

The bus was overcrowded. What should have been a 55 minute ride. Turned into a 2 hour ride. We almost missed our planned excursion.

Please note that the bus has a capacity of 50 seats, so it is quite normal for the service to be shared with other passengers.
Regarding the duration of the journey, unfortunately the travel time was affected by a serious accident on the motorway to Civitavecchia, which caused heavy traffic congestion. Regrettably, this was beyond our control.

Great way to transfer from the port to Vatican City drop off. I didn't realize we had to check in at a kiosk after getting off the shuttle from the ship. So we had a little difficulty finding the bus initially. But it all worked out well.

Pretty good option if you don’t want to wrestle with your luggage on the train from Civitavecchia to Termini. A little bit confusing once you take the free shuttle from the port after disembarkation as there are several tours and bus shuttles leaving Civitavecchia with their own appropriate stands and offices. This one is with SIT, and I was told to check in at the GreenLine Tours desk for assistance. Then I was guided to the bus a few mins walk away from Largo del Pace. Pretty smooth ride and well organized.

Dear customer, where you have been dropped is in Termini and you had only to cross the square and Via Marsala to join the Station. Termini area is quite big though but our staff at the boarding place in Civitavecchia is always available and pleased to suggest directions if needed.
The bus journey was good but the drop place was 7minutes away from the requested drop place -roma termini and we had to walk till there with two big suitcases which was a little tiring for us

Shuttle bus to end of port to catch ride on another bus to Rome. Long walk from shuttle to bus pick up. Quite a wait till the bus is full before leaving. Driver professional and ride uneventful. Would not use this transport method again.
It was a smooth and easy process. Definitely would recommend. The price was unbeatable. Would do this at every port from now on.

When you disembark your ship go all the way to the end of the cruise terminal (left hand side) and take the transfer bus to Largo. When you arrive in largo there will be a lot of transportation companies there. Look for the booth for SIT (Societa Italiana Transporti), it was on the right near the end and yellow in color. Our bus was parked outside the transportation center so we had to walk about a 1/4 mile.
This was a great way to get from the port of Cittiavercchia to Center City Rome. Highly recommend. We saved a lot of money.

Missed the tour. Customer service was never accessible. They claim 24/7 accessibility and it's not true. I addition the website is the worst. Will think twice before using them again.
