Easy to find the meeting point as shuttle bus drops you in the port building where the tour starts. Air-conditioned bus left on time took just over an hour to get to Pisa. The guide, Greta, told us interesting facts about the area on the way. Bus dropped us in a bus park and we followed the guide for about 10 mins to Miracle Square, which was also the meeting point after exploring for 2hrs on your own. This is not a guided tour. On the way back we stopped at Lerici for gelato for about 40mins, then back to the port.

We booked this as just a bus ride to Pisa to explore on our own and nothing more. What we got was all that and more !! We had Johnny as our leader not a guide, but Johnny was awesome. The ride to Pisa was 1 hour and Johnny told of so much history as we drove through it in that time. Johnny walked the entire group from the bus lot to the Pisa walls. From there he gave tips about what to do and how to make the most of our 2 hours. We had 2 hours of free time and it was just about enough. We saw everything, took lots of pics, got souvenirs and even had pizza and beer.
We meet Johnny back at the said meeting point and back to the bus as a group. The bonus next was us getting off the motorway to we drove along the coastline seeing some beautiful villages. We then were dropped off for free time of 35 minutes in the beautiful ocean village of Lerici. This was an entire working type seaside village, not made for tourists which really made this a great stop. Was able to go in a couple local shops and have gelato and a focaccia bread in that time while walking along the water. Everything was on time leaving and coming back, left at 10am back at 3:30pm.
This was the perfect day !!
Also…. Meeting point is in the cruise terminal not outside at the address they put on the site.

Greta was an excellent guide with a wealth of information on La Spezia, Sarzana, and Pisa. It was apparent that she is very proud of her home and enjoys sharing it with others.
She had to handle a situation with a few families not following directions on meeting at the designated time who then became angry with her that she did not wait. She handled the situation with such grace and professionalism.
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit and learning a bit more about this beautiful part of Italy.

We enjoyed this tour. The bus was comfortable and Rachel gave us commentary along the ride which was lovely. We had enough time to visit all of the buildings, eat gelato, and do some shopping. There are restaurants, snack bars, gift shops, and souvenir stands in and around the square where you visit. There is also a McDonald’s which has a bathroom you can pay 1 euro to use but there is generally a long line. On the way back to the cruise port we did a drive thru tour of another small town which was lovely also. There is a lot of walking from the bus to the square unfortunately because the buses are not allowed to park nearby. At least a ten minute walk each way.

Very good tour with our guide Julia. For inexperienced Viator users like us, you MUST look at your ticket DETAILS to find out who is providing the tour so you don't waste time wondering the "who and where". Once that got figured out, we had a good tour experience, especially at the last stop, amrhe beautiful town of Lerici...wish we had at least 75 minutes there.

We did this tour as a family of 4 - two adults, a 10yo and an autistic 7yo - and found it worked really well. The stops were both a good duration and offered good flexibility to do your own thing (many people did the guided tour in Sarzana but we found a lovely cafe and a great playpark with the kids where we made friends with some lovely Italian mums who insisted on sharing their ice lollies with the kids) Pisa again was a good duration. The bus was comfy and our guide pitched the amount of commentary perfectly (enough to make the journey interesting but not overloading us with facts and history) We also found the price very reasonable (especially when compared with other similar excursions) Would definitely recommend. Communication with the company was also good and clear on instructions of where to meet. Also loved that we could buy reasonably priced water on board the bus.

Arrived in La spezia port on a cruise picked up the tour in the terminal at 10am ,drove to Lerici a small fishing port stayed 1 hour then on to Pisa ,Ambra our guide was very informative.
Pisa is a 10 min walk from where the bus parks as they're not allowed near the monuments ,spent 2 hours there had a look round and lunch then back to the port for 4pm ,brilliant tour would recommend, thanks to our tour guide and driver(Nufel)

A great start to our trip was the excellent air con on the bus, everything was well organised. Unfortunately at the 1st stop before Pisa my son was sick!! Our Guide Gabriele was amazing, he arranged a taxi back to the port. On leaving I said to Gabriele tell Pisa I said hi. Later that day I got a message with a picture of the leaning tower of Pisa from Gabriele and he asked how my son was feeling. I was amazed and grateful that he had gone out of his way to send the photo. Exceptional service!

Gabrielle the tour guide was fine. He did his job. I realize this was not a tour but basically transportation. My main problem was I had contacted the tour company ahead of time so I could purchase tower tickets and I needed a time. They told me would arrive in Pisa at 1:45. So I booked my tickets for the tower at 2:00! Well we arrived at 12:45 and Gabrielle was saying the time would be tight for 2:00 and I should try and change the time. There were no other times available so we went at 2:00 and it did turn out ok, but it was stressful. The other problem was the temperature in the bus. It was 33C and the air conditioning (if you call it that) was barely blowing slightly cool air. I was almost sick from the heat.

Good communication from the company, very organised and friendly
Our guide was Greta she took us to Lerici which was beautiful resort followed by Pisa.
Lots of shops restaurants & bars.
Had a beautiful view of the tower whilst having a couple of glasses of wine
Would recommend pick up and dropped off at the port.
Toilets 1 euro pay by card free in bars & restaurants if you purchase something

The bus was nice but that was my only positive review. It felt like transportation to Pisa and not a tour. Guid provided minimum information about the sights. Often felt rushed at the two stops. If visiting again, I would select a different tour.

We are very sorry that you did not enjoy the tour. The tour you booked is characterized by the presence of two different stops. The first is in Sarzana, a medieval town, and the second one is in Pisa. Our tour leaders give the tourists 50 minutes for visiting Sarzana either with the tour leader or on their own, and 2 free hours in Pisa. This was what has happend also on the 24th of May. Furthermore, the tour leader, as it is normally done, has provided you with usefull basic information about how to fully enjoy the visit of Pisa and about the places you passed through on the way to Pisa. From our understanding you have choosen not to follow the tour leader in Sarzana preferring to visit the town on your own.
We do not have guides but tour leaders, who follwing the Italian laws linked to their licences, can just lead tourists and provide them with information just on bord and not once off the bus.

This is basically a bus ride to piza. Which is what we wanted. However the bus did not have working air-conditioning and the windows do not open. We felt like we were being cooked alive.
