Overview

The 19,974-foot (6,088-meter) peak of Huayna Potosi is one of the highest mountains around La Paz, just over an hour’s drive north of the city. With this tour from La Paz, travel from the city into the mountains, then set out on a thrilling full-day mountain trek to Huayna Potosi base camp, climbing up to more than 16,400 feet (5,000 meters) and enjoying spectacular views of the Glacier Viejo.
