    Wonderful time, great advises and guidance from our dear guide Marco, and a view that deserved the effort. Perfect organization and timing! And our driver Juan assured our safety like a boss! Highly recommended

    Tough but rewarding

    I booked this through Viator the day before. I checked where the pick up point was because they did not offer hotel pick up for my location. The lady at the agency was very helpful and said I could have a hotel pick up which was great. I was picked up as agreed and taken with 1 other person to a beautiful location about 2 hrs drive from La Paz where we started the trek in sleat then snow and soon we was walking in snow which got deeper as we climbed. At the summit after nearly 3 hours the sun burnt through the cloud a little to give some views which quickly improved as we started our descent. The scenery was amazing and the guide was polite and helpful at all times. I would definitely recommend this fantastic trip to others. Just a caveat. I feel if you are of average fitness and get similar conditions that you would probably need 7 hours for the return trek but very well worth the effort. Would thoroughly recommend.
