A highlight of our trip for sure!!! Genki was informative during our walking tour and highlighted the history of the area and a few fun shops! The maiko experience was fantastic!! She preformed two dances and we had a great Q&A session and pics and played a game. Very cool experience and I’m so pleased we booked the tour!

Awesome Show and Interactive experience with the Maiko.

This was a bucket list item fulfilled. I always been fascinated by the Giesha and wanted to attend a show and see them live. We enjoyed the Maiko show thoroughly and I even got to play a game with the maiko and beat her as well,, this was another bucket list fulfilled. The team is very nice and we had a smooth check in process and reserved seats to get front row seats for the show. I will definitely be back with my family to attend this once again. Thanks Yusuke for fixing the confusion on the booking platform we had initially and thank for taking care if it and we will back again in the future.

This was the best tour we have done! Ai our guide was incredible she knew the history of Kyoto and was so friendly. We got lucky it was only us on the so it was great! The tea house was so beautiful and the show with the Maiko was the highlight of our trip in Japan. Thank you Ai you were fantastic and we had the best day! Make sure you spend the money and do this tour!

The main focus of this tour was meeting with the Geisha (meiko). Such a once-in-a-lifetime spectacular experience. It was 1 Meiko to 4 guests which was incredible to watch her dance, ask her questions and play a game with her! The guide preferred us to leave our geisha related questions to the Meiko but it would have been even better to have a really comprehensive introduction with all the history of geisha on the walking tour in the lead up to the meeting. Nevertheless, still highly recommended!

This Art of Geisha tour will be the highlight of your trip to Japan. Small group limited to 6 person allowed conversation with our knowledgeable and engaging guide Yoshino and trainee Karun. Had absolutely lovely interaction with a beautiful and talented Maeko (polished performer but pre-Geisha status). House mother serves cold tea, maeko shares two graceful dances, gives of her time for Q&A and individual photos with guests. The fan game, one on one with maeko, was unexpectedly fun and competitive!

What an amazing experience, our guide and interpreter was. Yoshino walked us around Gion and gave us an overall experience of the area and on Maiko and Geikos. The Maiiko was a delight we asked many questions which she happily answered through our guide she gave us an insight into her world . A truly fabulous experience. Watching her dance and play a game with us gave us a glimpse into her world. Do this if you can.

A Cultural Experience to Treasure for Years to Come

This was a true highlight of our time in Japan. After trying to spot geisha and maiko for a few days in Kyoto and being unlucky, we were very grateful to be part of this rich cultural experience with a maiko. Our guide Ai was very knowledgeable and willing to answer all of our questions, as well as translate so we could speak with tbe maiko. Our group ended up only having my husband and I, so we were able to see two beautiful dances and play a fan game. We would absolutely recommend this experience!
