An amazing place. Opted out of the Turkish lunch and rug making/selling portions of the tour despite the guides' insistence. For us, this tour would have been improved by just providing us transportation to/from Ephesus, a general presentation at the beginning along with a brief written guide to the major interesting points and then let us proceed by ourselves at our own pace. Felt like this tour was more the guides' tour than for us.

Ismail our tour guide met us right at the exit gate of the ship. He was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. We had a wonderful lunch and time to shop in addition to seeing the wonderful sites at Ephesus.

Our guide, Necat, gave us a wonderful introduction to the classical ruins at Ephesus. We saw the major sites and there was no question he could not answer about this ancient Greek city. We learned a lot and hope to return soon. And to top it off he kept us cool on a really hot day (101F) - Thanks Necat!

My husband and I were picked up at 7:30 (as recommended and great advice) from our cruise port and explored Ephesus, which was amazing! Our tour guide was great and very knowledgeable. Having a tour guide is really helpful to help learn more about the city. I have already recommended this tour to a friend who will be going on a cruise next year.

We absolutely LOVED this tour! Being private we were able to customise it to suit our families needs. Effesus was brilliant! And the knowledge our guide had made it even more meaningful and magical to explore.
It was easy to find our meeting spot, the car was air conditioned and very comfortable, the site was brilliant to navigate and our guide was lovely.
The rug stop was very interesting and the lunch was also great - just be confident when you say 'no thank you' if you don't want to buy anything.

Ozzy was an amazing guide. Our family of eight, including two young kids and four seniors, had a smooth, enjoyable day. Ozzy customized the itinerary exactly as we needed to juggle seeing the most important sights with staying cool on a very hot day and getting us back to our boat on time! He had great suggestions along the way to avoid the other really large tourist groups at several sites AND gave us really interesting historical insights and local knowledge at every spot!

There is a lot of walking in the sun, uneven surfaces. We did see a couple of people in wheelchairs- for one the wheelchair broke and they walked beside! Ephasus is amazing and vast. Eileen was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable, gentle, and helpful to take us to everything we wanted to see. The driver was excellent too. Car super comfortable.

Fatima gave us a complete highlight tour, explained everything, she was patent, we meet with her was so easy , she was lovely with our kids we feels very safe and the van was very clean, A/C all the time !

The communication from the company was great and we were well looked after by out guide and driver who added on a side trip to Mother Mary church without any extra charge. The tour company recommended an early start to avoid the crowds and heat and that was a really good idea. They picked us up from the cruise port and dropped us back in plenty of time to re-join our ship.

We had a wonderful day with our guide, Sedat Kirkan! We visited the Ephesus ruins and the Ephesus Museum and he was extremely informative. Our group was driven around in a very nice air conditioned van and we were given choices for where to go. I appreciated that Sedat kept finding us shade to stand in while it was very hot!

We met our guide Fatima at the cruise port. Pre-tour communication was perfect via WhatsApp, so finding our guide was effortless. We were driven to Ephesus and were given a thorough explanation of many areas to Ephesus as we walked through the ancient city. We were given some time to independently walk through the library building at the site. The tour continued to the amphitheater following which we reboarded our transportation for a short trip to the Ephesus museum. Fatima walked with us through the museum explaining to us what we were seeing. The best artifacts from the ancient city will be found here.
Following the museum we visited a textile facility which trains women the craft of Turkish rug making. This was a most interesting stop and very informative. A must stop if you take this tour. We then visited two other manufacturing facilities, one that made leather goods and a second that did high end pottery. These to were every informative. We then were returned to the cruise port of Kusadasi said our farewells and reboarded our cruise ship.
I highly recommend this tour as it met all of my groups expectations and then some.

Easy pick up at port. Our guide Josh spoke perfect English, very knowledge, kind and professional. We had a great driver with nice new van. The tour of ancient city, museum and Mary’s house was so interesting and informative. Delicious lunch followed by a fantastic fashion show at leather factory. I highly recommend this excursion.

very knowledgeable guide who was actually a history teacher and told us so much about the ruins and relics we saw as well as the culture and lifestyle of the people. luxurious, comfortable van took us to each venue and catered to our every need. delicious lunch also. this is the only way to go - highly recommend!!

Fatima, our tour guide, and Ozo, our driver, were fantastic. Fatima was very knowledgeable in Turkish history and we learned a lot about the Turkish country and culture. We shared a lunch with them at a local government chef school and the service and food were perfect. I would highly recommend this trip, and in particular, Fatima. This private tour was well worth the money (it would have cost double at least through our cruise ship). Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and happy to answer questions about life in Turkey today as well as the history.
