Tour was by Phoenicia Travel. Nesrin, our guide very knowledgeable and explained the many sights of Ephesus. She made sure we saw all the important places and ensured we found the best spots for photos. After Ephesus, she took us to a small farm co-op. For a delicious lunch. The farm also housed a school that taught traditional rug weaving. We saw a demonstration of weaving on a loom. How sulk cocoon were u traveled to make silk thread. And hundreds of beautiful hand made carpets. Recommend this tour to everyone.

Our day in Turkey was absolutely unforgettable! From the moment we met our guide, Nesrin, we knew we were in excellent hands. She was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and attentive—going above and beyond to make sure every part of the day was seamless and personalized. She walked us through the incredible history and beauty of Ephesus with such depth and passion that it truly brought the past to life. Afterward, she took us to a local co-op where we enjoyed a delicious, freshly prepared lunch that accommodated everyone’s dietary needs. We also loved seeing the animals on the farm, learning about the silkworm process, and watching the talented women loom rugs by hand—a mesmerizing and authentic Turkish experience. From start to finish, it was a perfect day filled with culture, learning, and heartwarming hospitality. Our entire family—from kids to adults—was captivated. We can’t wait to return to Turkey and reconnect with Nesrin to explore even more of this beautiful country. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ (Five stars isn’t enough!)

We have done many Viator tours but, this one was especially great! Nesrin was very knowledgeable and very friendly! We felt pampered from the moment we entered the fancy limo. The tour was tailored to what we wanted to see. We highly recommend this tour with Nesrin to anyone visiting Ephesus.

Our guide Mithat went over and above our expectations to create a perfect experience. We were off a cruise and he took us to Epehesus and a farm lunch as planned but offered a number of other options after at no extra cost. Mithat was very knowledgeable of the history of the site but also of his country and the geography. He is an excellent storyteller and kept us engaged from start to finish. The minivan offered was top quality and the driver very efficient and safe.

We thoroughly enjoyed our private tour today around Euphesus. Our guide, Gökçe was very professional and knowledgeable. She was more than willing to answer all of our questions and we learnt so much about the history of Euphesus, as well as Turkish traditions. The included farm lunch was absolutely delicious and we also enjoyed the presentation by Taner at the carpet school. The minivan was air conditioned and very comfortable. We highly recommend this tour.

Very Personalized and Flexible Tour Made for Our Best Day of Travel

This was a great tour, one of the best days of our 10 day cruise trip. Our tour guide, Gökçe, was very knowledgable and flexible. After booking the tour, we requested to add a stop at St. John the Evangelist Basilica. The tour group indicated it would not be a problem. It was my error that we did not clearly identify on the day of the tour, that we still wanted to do the Ephesus archaeological site and House of the Virgin Mary so Gökçe thought we were just wanting to see the Ephesus site and the basilica. After we visited the amazing and beautiful archaeological site and the basilica, we had a nice lunch and rug weaving demo-no pressure to buy anything. When Gökçe offered to take us to a pottery shop, we asked about the House of the Virgin Mary and she said she thought we only had wanted to do the other two sites. Gökçe made a quick change to the afternoon itinerary for us so we were able to get to the House of the Virgin Mary and back to our ship on time. I would highly recommend this tour for anyone because of the flexibility of the itinerary, the personalized itinerary offered and that the group consisted of my wife and me along with our guide. There were other groups in Ephesus that numbered 24+ in the group. We would not have been able to personalize our itinerary and would not have gotten nearly as much from our day in this significant area if we had been in a large group.
