Ahmed was our tour guide. He was absolutely great and made the trip special. We highly recommend him as a tour guide. Although it is a long tiring the trip to Cameron Highlands is worth it. Please note, however, only book Monday to Wednesday.

I am extremely pleased we took the Cameron Highlands private tour. First, the Cameron Highlands are full of especially beautiful sights and unique experiences. I was worried about going during the rainy season (early October), but we were fortunate that it did not rain at all on the day we went. I am very glad we chose the private tour rather than the shared tour. The private tour costs a little more, but it includes the entrance fees to several places that the shared tour does not even go. Our driver/ tour guide (Ahmed) was extremely knowledgeable about all the places on the tour. He also speaks many languages and conversed with locals in their native languages (Mayal, Chinese, etc.). His English is terrific. He also helped select/buy local fruit to taste [Dorian (creamy, sweet, not smelly but slight after taste), jack fruit (tasty), local bananas (very good, but small)]. We feel fortunate that Ahmed was our tour guide/driver.

This tour, with Ahmed, was a splendid day driving through the rainforest area. Highlights included a visit to a colonial era tea plantation, a waterfall, and an indigenous person’s house to try poison dart blowing. Lunch was included at a local restaurant which was delicious. Ahmed made stops for us to buy local fruits and snacks to try, like durian. He tailored the tour to suit our interests to make our day special. And his driving skills were excellent, safe and smooth, especially on the windy mountain roads and with a monsoon storm on the way home.

Don’t do it! Not as described, run down and no guide to talk you through each part. Wasted a whole day at a ancient run down ghostly children’s park if you can even call it that, waterfalls just topped it off - shocking, sat in 5 hours traffic just topped get down the highlands. Wasted an entire day of our holiday.
No bees at the farm and had to pay for toilet and then come back out as no toilet roll and had to pay for a sheet of paper.
Please please don’t do this. Ruined the start to our holiday and me and my partner live opposite sides of the world and don’t get to see each other often and we wasted really precious time at this tour. False advertisement and completely not as described no information no tour.

We had a fabulous day with Ahmed. Very comfy car. Ahmed was so informative and very patient with our questions. Lovely local lunch and strawberry coffee at the strawberry farm.

The actual tour/itinerary was good value, I gave a lower score due to the poor quality of our driver/tour guide Ahmed who was argumentative and rude, he should be sacked! Otherwise I would have given 5 stars.

Since we were not staying in KL, we needed to take a train, so we communicated with our guide about a pickup point. When we got off our train, our guide was right at the location happily waiting for us. He was very friendly and accommodating. He was willing to answer any questions as we drove out of the city. As we drove up the winding road to the Highlands, it became apparent as to why it is recommended that ones with back issues not take the tour; you really get pushed around a bit, but it was okay for us. Some of the walking and steep stairs can be a concern for those with back issue, as well.
The stops along the way are such a treat. The unsweetened strawberry jam was the best! Some of the stops were a bit unnecessary, but our guide was willing to adapt to our liking. The Highlands were breathtakingly beautiful! Words don’t give justice! Finally, we enjoyed a late lunch (included in the price of the tour!) at a beautiful restaurant that had a nice fusion of cuisines to fit anyone’s tastes. The drive down the mountain allowed us time to rest from the day’s activities.
This trip was a great value, a great way to explore the area when you have only a little time, and a great experience!

This was a great trip. The tea plantation was the real highlight of the day, but the waterfall was also stunning. Glad we took travel sickness meds before we went as the road is windy, but the views are worth it. Great driver who gave us lots of info and was happy to adapt the itinerary according to our preferences.

The Cameron Highland tour was good and because we were on a private tour we asked our guide Kassim to adapt it to our specifications meaning spending more times in some places and less in others, as well avoiding the places we were not interested in seeing.
Additionally Kassim was full of knowledge and very helpful with recommendations of places to visit in Malaysia.

If only I can recall his name , our guide is super nice never rich us since I have my elderly mom and small child with us, he’s very patience explained everything about the Cameron, tour was exactly what the itinerary said , the tea factory and the view also the butterfly garden and small zoo, it’s worth the money , lunch by the gold club was delicious with relaxing weather and view, thank you to the tour guide that I can’t remember his name , kudos to him , he’s Indian guy and very polite.

Cameron Highlands is very pretty and worth the drive. However, following this itinerary is a waste of time. If you want to visit, please do yourself a favor and read this.
Skip all of the gardens/farms (bee, cactus, butterfly, strawberry), skip the markets and everything “cultural” (basket, village), and even skip the Bharat Tea Plantation if you are not going in. Instead, use that time to stay longer at the BOH tea plantation. Stay for a tea tasting, enjoy the scenery, eat, but don’t waste the time at the other stops (tourist traps). The waterfall was ok, much needed stop after al the curves down the mountain.
Talk to your driver and organize this as soon as you meet them. Pro tip: try to schedule a separate tour to visit the Mossy Forest, way better than any of the other stops.

Wir hatten einen tollen Tag in den Cameron Highlands. Unser Fahrer Raja hat uns alles gezeigt und auch erklärt. Er war pünktlich da, hat eine angenehme Fahrweise und war sehr aufmerksam.
Trotz der langen Fahrtzeit lohnt sich ein Ausflug ins Hochland. Man sieht die Teeplantagen, kann Erdbeeren kosten sowie Honig kaufen. Auch das Essen war gut und wurde an einem Golfplatz serviert. Aus dem Auto heraus konnte man sogar den Nationalpark bewundern.
Wir sind froh diese Tour gebucht zu haben. Dank Raja war es ein tolles Erlebnis 😊
