Would really say 4, but the guide (Dean) was excellent, so I kept it at 5.
I wish we had 15 more minutes in Lake Bled to be able to visit either the castle or the church, but they pad the time based on ship departure and traffic.
Additionally, the parking was terrible in Ljubljana, so we missed out on the walking tour. Dean gave a quick description because he didn’t want to waste our time driving around, and told us to take pictures of anything we wanted more information on.

Perfect day tour of Slovenia of the 2 places we wanted to see. Tadej picked us up at the ship port in a newer air conditioned van and provided us with history lessons and real insight into the Slovenian culture and lifestyle. He answered our many questions with valuable insight and patience and gave us tips for food to try, paths to walk and structures to visit. It was the best tour we have had!

Lake Bled and ljubania were beautiful even on a rainy Sunday. Most shops were closed. The tour guide was helpful but I would have enjoyed more information on the cities and country.

Unfortunately in spite of going to 2 beautiful places, our guide was worthless. We were part of cruise ship. "Ernie's " English is poor and he had very little to say about what we were seeing. In both locations he left us on our own w very little direction.

This was a good introduction to 2 of Slovenias many attractions. We booked a small group tour (15 max) which turned out to be a full size coach which actually broke down on the way to Lake Bled. Fortunately it was just approaching a service station and was replaced by another from Ljubljana after a 30 min delay. This caused some disruption to the time at beautiful lake Bled which was initially cut to 30min and then extended to 1.5hours. The second stop at the capital Ljubljana went according to plan so we did not miss out on anything, but arrived back at the cruise terminal too late to look around Koper. The tour guide from Kopertours was informative and did a great job re-organanising the tour around the bus company replacement buses - we used 3!

We had such an amazing time in Ljubljana and Bled! Our guide was fantastic from beginning to end. He was extremely knowledgeable, attentive, cheerful and will do anything to make your experience a truly amazing one. Slovenia is a beautiful country and a hidden gem! This was a phenomenal experience and I highly recommend.

For the price paid, this was a disappointing tour. I was expecting a small group, but we were thrown in with a large tour from another cruise line.. so instead of a small group, we were with 28 others on an old and dirty bus. Tour guide was a let down as well, she was a student, not what I would call a professional guide.
Not enough time to really explore Bled a visit to the castle would have been far too rushed so all to do is wander around the very pretty lake and walk back to the bus.
Attempted to have the cream cake kremšnita, however the wait staff refused to serve us. Thought it was just us, but 4 others on the same tour experienced the same.
Ljubljana was a better experience. Very interesting city, but no time to explore on own despite being told several times there would be free time. Had 2 minutes literally to run into a shop to buy the pumpkin seed oil delicious.
This tour is far too rushed and would be much more enjoyable as separate tours. As it is now, not recommended.

Regarding the time schedule, our trips are planned according to the cruise ship departure time and we may adjust as necessary to find the most optimal time schedule so our customers can enjoy visiting both Bled Lake and Ljubljana and be back on time in Koper. Unfortunately, this is not a small-group tour, as these are very popular destinations. Each client is typically given at least 1 hour of free time in each location as we understand that our guests would like to go to lunch, see the city on their own, or collect some souvenirs.
We would also like to assure you that your guide on the date of your tour is a competent, licensed, travel professional, despite her current status as a student. Also, please rest assured, we have reviewed our vehicles to ensure they are all clean with working air conditioning as we always try to deliver best service possible to our customers.
In addition to this, we have personally contacted the place that serves Bled Crème Cake Kremšnita and discussed the situation about customers who were forced to wait for services and they sincerely apologized for all inconveniences their customers experienced. The place was simply overcrowded and they could not accept any new customers at that time. Our guide did manage to buy some Crème Cake Kremšnita and offered it to the clients on the bus who wanted to try it so we do hope you were still able to get a taste of this treat!

We enjoyed this tour with our guide Dan who drove us around with two other couples from our cruise ship. Lake bled is incredibly beautiful and Dan recommended a cafe where we tried the local specialty cream bun yum, we would have loved to of been able to visit the castle but there was not enough time due to our ships arrival and departure time. Dan took us to his home town of Ljubljana which has a beautiful Austrian style Main Street and a church with must see fresco's. Dan even took us in to the local market with outdoor cafe's and wine bars and helped translate for us so we could order the local cheeses, prosciutto and wine to try when we had some free time at the end of the tour.

We had a lovely day on this tour. Dejan, of Koper Tours was excellent. The only issue here was really something Viatour could have corrected. Those going to Ljubljana AND Lake Bled were told to be at the bus at 7:45 am. We were all there, however there were six people scheduled for only the Ljubljana portion of the tour AND they were told to be at the SAME bus at 9 a.m. SO we waited an hour and 15 minutes for them to board before we left. We were told we would have a couple hours in Lake Bled, but because of the late start, we were there for less than an hour. Not nearly enough time to explore the place Lake Bled I most wanted to see on this whole cruise. This would have been a 5 tour except for Viatour's bus scheduling error. Koper tours did a great job!
