We don't wait for the Northern Lights – we go looking for them! Our Northern Lights Hunt has one goal: giving you the best possible chance to see the Aurora. Before every tour, we analyse weather forecasts, cloud cover and Aurora activity to find the best conditions. We travel by minivan with no fixed route or viewing spot. If Levi is cloudy, we drive towards clearer skies and adjust our route throughout the evening. We keep our groups small, with a maximum of 10 guests per guide. Even with multiple minivans, each group has its own dedicated guide for a personal experience. Last winter, our guide found the Northern Lights on every tour he guided. Nobody can control the Aurora or weather, but we do everything possible to find the best conditions. That's why we offer a Money Back Guarantee: if you don't see the Northern Lights or can't get photos during the tour, you get your money back. Your guide will also help you capture the Aurora with your phone or camera.

Leave the crowds and fixed routes behind - this is Northern Lights hunting without kilometer limits. On this private 4x4 tour, your local Finnish guide chases clear skies and real-time aurora forecasts with one mission: to get you under the Northern Lights. With no kilometer limits, we'll go as far as we have to. You'll ride in a comfort of warm off-road vehicle built for Lapland's toughest conditions. We'll be stopping at scenic spots along the way to make sure we don't miss anything. And we believe in fairness - if the aurora doesn't appear, you'll receive 30% refund, no questions asked. That is our Aurora Guarantee. Last season we had over 90% success rate on our tours, so we are confident in giving this promise. Perfect for couples or small groups seeking more personal and flexible Northern Lights experience. Duration of the tour: you decide, with maximum 5 hours.

Back-country skiing is both a fascinating sport and an age-old, environmentally friendly way of getting around in Arctic conditions. On our back-country skiing adventure, we use specialist skis that represent the newest innovation in Finnish wilderness exploration. These skis enable us to move away from known tracks and head directly into the deeper snow. The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will share his knowledge in landscape and nature photography, so you can get the photos you desire. Expect some unforgettable landscapes and opportunities for photography! If we get lucky, we might also encounter some wildlife. During this journey in nature, we will find a place for us to build a fire and prepare some light snacks on the open fire.

Dating back at least 3500 years, this ancient form of winter hiking is ideal for exploring the Lappish nature offering great opportunities for photography. The tour is guided by a professional photography guide who will also teach you some tricks and techniques for your own landscape and nature photography. We will take breaks during the tour and one longer break will include building a fire and enjoying some light snacks and warm drinks. Tour starts at our meeting point in Levi where everyone will get their equipment ready for the day. We provide you with high quality snowshoes, especially made for deep-snow hiking. After a drive to the wilderness location, we will enter the deep snow in the pristine Arctic nature. If we are lucky, we may encounter some wildlife during our tour.

Unlike standard Northern Lights tours, this adults-only experience begins late at night — when most tours have already ended and aurora activity is often strongest. Hosted by Arctic Midnight Group, this small-group adventure takes you deep into Lapland’s forests to a private wilderness cabin far from crowds and artificial lights. Warm up by the fire while enjoying traditional Lapland campfire snacks. Guests are offered a glass of sparkling wine or our signature rhubarb & blueberry Arctic soda. Your guide uses a professional Canon camera to capture high-quality photos under the Northern Lights so you leave with unforgettable memories. A late-night Arctic atmosphere experience combining auroras, photography and authentic wilderness moments — designed for adults seeking something truly special.

Leave the crowds behind and discover the wild side of Lapland. Your guide will take you along remote roads and deep into the wilderness in search of moose in their natural habitat. Moose are shy wild animals, so sightings cannot be guaranteed, but with local knowledge, patience and a little luck, you may encounter these magnificent animals. Along the way, you may also spot reindeer, foxes, hares, wild birds and other Arctic wildlife. Your guide knows the local wilderness and the areas where wildlife is most likely to be found. A professional camera is carried throughout the tour, and your guide will capture photos along the way. Arctic Midnight Group specializes in small-group experiences, allowing us to explore quieter places and offer a more personal and authentic way to experience Lapland. Every tour is different – this is a real wildlife adventure, not a visit to a zoo or wildlife park.

With only moonlight, stars, and snowmobile lights to guide you, the guide will lead you to the nearly unlit nature. As you take a break in the middle of the wilderness to gaze at the night sky, you will be surrounded by forests and lakes rising like mysterious shadows towards the sky. Wait in anticipation for the Northern Lights to appear and dance in the night sky. If you are fortunate and the sky is clear, you might witness the awe-inspiring Northern Lights dance in the sky while you bask in the peacefulness of the surroundings. Note that the excursion is held late at night.
