I had a great experience with this tour. I was picked up from my hotel on time so no waiting around for the guide and driver. The guide had a very pleasant personality and was very knowledgeable. He was very thorough on describing the different parts of Thamel that we went through and provided me with explanations on why the restoration of some temples due to the earthquake damage have been slow. Thamel was a dizzying array of shops, hotels, restaurants, and temples. It was quite an experience being on the rickshaw and navigating through the narrow streets filled with people, cars, and bikes. There's definitely a lot pf photo opportunities so make sure your camera is fully charged! A practical consideration for the rickshaw is that it is not sized for large individuals. The tour ended with lunch before I was taken back to my hotel. The only down side to this tour is the price. It was a bit pricey for a short tour but that's just my opinion. If you don't mind the price, this would be a very interesting tour to take!
