We had a wonderful time with Robert yesterday! Robert owns and operates his own boats off the beach in Herradura. We met him there on the beach and took off in style! Robert has a very nice, very comfortable boat for your tour along with water and beach toys to offer you a super fun experience! We started off with a stop to a little island to check out the monkeys! They did not disappoint and showed up for a photo op! Next was a stop for some snorkeling (water clarity was off due to all the rain), and then my sister and I played with the Subways a bit before we went over to Tortuga island. Rest and relax and enjoy the sun or just lounge in the shade. Robert has paddle boards & pickleball for you to enjoy on the stop if you want to do something besides lounge. You'll be served breakfast, snacks of fruit, and a hot lunch on the island - water, soda, beer, rum punch are on the boat. After we were done on the island, we headed back to the marina. On our way back we got to see a humpback whale and her calf who was having fun playing in the water.
We enjoy small, local operations when we travel. It was just the 4 of us on the boat with Robert and he made sure we had a fun day. It was perfect for us! He is very accommodating and wants you to have the best time while visiting Costa Rica. He offers a very personalised trip and you cannot go wrong! Pura Vida!
