Rating 10 out of 10! What a great tour and tour company. First class service all the way. Yeliz was very attentive to every need we had. Our tour guide in Istanbul was Neshe and she was fantastic. Istanbul is an amazing city. Hagia Sophia, the Bosphorous cruise and the mosques were highlights. Our guide in Capadocia was Turcan and she was fun and super. We enjoyed a tour of the underground city, a carpet manufacturer, and a pottery tour on top of the unique faery chimneys. Very cool. We also added on a traditional Tukish Hamam, which I highly recommend that you do when finished with your day's touring. Our guide for the last portion of the trip was Safak and he was a wealth of knowledge. Pamukkale was interesting (very long bus ride to get there though) but Epehesus the next day was fabulous (and much closer). All the guides and drivers used their local knowledge to show us the "insider places" to eat and shop. The vans and drivers were top notch too. Very comfortable rides through the cities and countryside. In the beginning, I set out to organize my own trip and then found Smart Turkey Tours. And I am so glad I did. They did it all: From organizing the fights, airport transfers, hotels, tour guides and entry fees to the meals, they just made me appreciate that, when you come across a tour company that is excellent, it makes your whole experience excellent too.
