I booked the 4 day tour in the afternoon of the day before tour starting. I am impressed by the way Tours Flame arranged the whole trip in a few hours. There were a lot of moving parts, involving 3 flights and two hotels. I was initially worried. In the end I was happy that I chose this package. Everything was well coordinated. There's a well run travel agency network behind it. When I was not able to do online check-in for my flight, I texted Tours Flame at 4 am in the morning, To my surprise, someone answered my text right away and helped me to check in online. Thank you Tours Flame.

Well-organized itinerary.

Gopal_K, Apr 2025
We wanted to explore Turkey and were short on time, this was the best way we could have spent our time. Ahmad at ToursFlame put together a comprehensive itinerary with really good tours and great hotel and flight options, then followed up closely to ensure we had a perfectly coordinated experience. The balloon flight is not to be missed and the natural beauty of Cappadocia, Pamukkale and the well-preserved historic sites at Ephesus are amazing to see. This tour uses smaller groups and gives you a very relaxed and customized experience. Very highly recommended.

Never Again!

Susan_V, Mar 2025
Total rip-off! Not listening to the needs of your clients. Disgusting hotels. Completely exhausted after this so-called holiday!

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Dear Susan, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are sorry that the tour did not meet your expectations. However, we would like to clarify a few points. You booked a small group tour, which follows a fixed schedule that is clearly explained before booking. Early pickups are part of this itinerary, and during our phone conversation prior to the tour, this was explained to you as well. For guests who prefer flexible timings, we always recommend a private tour, which can be arranged upon request. Regarding accommodation, the package you booked included 3-star hotels. As a gesture of goodwill, we upgraded your stay in Kuşadası to a 5-star hotel and arranged a cave hotel room in Cappadocia, both of which were above the original package level. During the tour and hotel stays, our team and guides checked in regularly, and no concerns were raised at that time. Our support team remained available throughout the tour, and we would have been happy to address any issues immediately if they had been communicated. We regret that the experience felt exhausting for you, but we did our best to deliver and exceed the services included in your booking. Kind regards, Tours Flame

Four-day tour of ancient and scenic Turkey

Thomas_I, Sep 2024
There were unique aspects of every city/region we visited. Ancient history in some regions, and amazing geological scenery with a hot air balloon ride added. I wouldn't change any of it. Only problem is between flights (particularly if they are delayed) and early pickups, there is some lack of sleep. Worth it though.

It was a great experience...

Umamagheswari_D, Jun 2023
It was a great experience especially the hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia and seeing the sun rise with all other air balloons floating on the sky, it was pure bliss :-). I would strongly recommend Viator and thanks to Ahmad from Toursflame, they organised my trip very well and in every step I felt greeted and safe. I would definitely use other tours via Viator. Thanks, Uma.

Tours Flame Is The Best

Cindy, Nov 2022
I had endless questions and concerns, but Tours Flame handled this with patience and grace. It was a fast paced tour with early hours but well worth it. The hotels were very nice. Safran Cave Hotel was one of the best hotel experiences I've had. The guides at the places we visited were well informed. I would definitely use Tours Flame again.

Overall would recommend - easy way to see the sights in a short period of time.

Sarah_R, Sep 2022
Couple from the USA here, who just completed this tour in September. Overall, I would recommend this tour as it allows you to see the main sights of Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Pamukkale in just four days. However, there is a lot to unpack about this tour and I'm going to try to give an extremely thorough review with both the good and the bad so you can make an informed decision on whether or not it's for you. Given the inconsistent (and some bizarre/possibly fake?) reviews here, I was hesitant to book. But in general, I'm glad we did. If you're short on time like we were, it's a good option. We are pretty independent travelers who don't normally do multi day tours, but we only had 4 days, and I don't think we would have been able to see what we did doing it on our own, given the time it would've taken to rent and return rental cars. However, if you have more than 4 days, I would recommend renting a car and doing it on your own. The "good" parts - - The tour does what it's supposed to - you see the sights fairly thoroughly and you get to check the sights off your list. The tour guides were good and knowledgeable, and we felt like we received more background, history, and context than if we were to travel to these sights on our own. - Everything is extremely well organized, it's actually fairy amazing how organized they are given how many travelers they are organizing, with not all of them going to the same places. We always knew where to meet, when we were being picked up in the morning, etc. - Communication was good both verbally and through Whatsapp while on the trip. - Always fun to interact with fellow travelers on the tour from all over the world! Things to keep in mind - - Do realize that you're packing a LOT of sights into a short amount of time. If you're looking for relaxation and a slow pace, this tour is not for you. Be prepared to run on little sleep on two of the four days, especially if you choose to include a hot air balloon ride into your itinerary. On the day of the optional hot air balloon ride (if you choose to do it) you will be up at 4:30AM for the balloon and you won't go to sleep until 1 or 2AM that night after your flight to Izmir, and you will be up again the next day for an 8AM tour. Luckily the days following a night with little sleep, your tour will end by 4-5PM and you can get to bed in the early evening to catch up on sleep, so in my opinion it is possible to sustain yourself. We were ok, but we were traveling with a group of older people who had to skip the Ephesus day and sleep instead because they were too tired. So just know yourself and your limits, and decide if this is something you can handle. Catch those naps on the bus! - Lunch will not always be scheduled at a time you are used to, one day we ate at 2pm. So be a smart traveler and pack granola bars, snacks, Liquid IV - whatever you need to keep yourself going and happy. - They may switch the first two days itinerary, just go with the flow. If your first day was supposed to be the "Northern Cappadocia" tour and you find yourself on the "Southern Cappadocia" tour, don't fret. The following day you will do the other one. Regardless, you will see everything you were supposed to. - Know that this tour is a combination of multiple tour companies working together. You will likely be with the same fellow travelers the first two days, but once you leave Cappadocia you will be with different fellow travelers. This 4 day tour is a combination of multiple tours. Some people may just sign up for a single day, others may be with you for the 4 full days. The "bad" - - I didn't enjoy not receiving our final itinerary until just a few days before our tour. I'm someone who expects itineraries at least two weeks in advance of a trip/tour, so the communication could be better there. But once we received the itinerary, everything was clear. You will receive your flight numbers and reservation codes so you can check into your fights in advance if you wish. - As some others have stated, there are a couple "time filler" stops along the itinerary, usually one per day, where you taken into a shop, given a brief presentation of their products, and given time to purchase. I'm sure the company receives some kind of benefit for bringing tourists into their shops. Honesty, we didn't mind it that much. I've been on much worse tours (in Mexico) where they try to sell you things on the actual tour bus. This was much more tasteful. If you aren't interested in purchasing or looking around, it's really no big deal. Just treat the stop as an opportunity to buy water, go to the bathroom, and get back on the bus and rest. You don't have to hang around. The stops are short, no more than 30 - 45 minutes usually. The pottery demonstration and shop is actually fantastic, as the demonstration is very good and the products so beautiful, it was like walking around a museum. The leather store however was silly, we went right back on the bus. - Our first night's hotel in Cappadocia (the cave hotel) was fantastic, very nice and clean, and very pleasant staff. The second hotel we were put in however in Kudasi, was a nightmare. It was very unclean, even the linens. No soap provided in the bathroom, uncomfortable bed. We were a bit confused as to how we went from such a nice hotel, to such a terrible one. Some of our fellow travelers on our tour complained, and the tour company immediately rectified the problem by putting us into a better hotel for the second night, and apologized for the situation. So although that was very frustrating at the time, they did right by us and did their best to change the situation, which we were appreciative of. After our experience, I would certainly hope they would never use that hotel again for their tours. The name of the hotel was Altinsaray Hotel in Kudasi. If that hotel shows up on your final itinerary - immediately request a different hotel. I'm sure it was just a one time mistake, however. A general tip for you - If you don't want to go up in a hot air balloon in Cappadocia, (or like us have already done hot air ballooning here in the US and didn't feel the need to do it again), do still set your alarm for sunrise while in Cappadocia and watch the balloons take off! You can see them from your hotel, or really anywhere in town. There are many great viewing points, including one high up on a hill a short walk away. Absolutely worth it to see them ascend, beautiful experience!

Dear Sarah, Thank you very much for taking the time to write such a detailed and thoughtful review. We truly appreciate the balanced way you shared both the positives and the points to keep in mind. We’re delighted to hear that the tour allowed you to see Cappadocia, Ephesus, and Pamukkale efficiently and that you found our organization, guides, and communication helpful throughout the journey. It’s especially encouraging to know that our team was able to resolve the hotel issue promptly when it arose, and we appreciate you recognizing that effort. Your comments about pacing, optional activities, shopping stops, and accommodation expectations are very valuable, and they reflect exactly the kind of information future travelers should consider when choosing a fast-paced, multi-destination group tour. Thank you again for traveling with us and for sharing such helpful insights. We wish you many more wonderful travels ahead. Kind regards, Tours Flame

Do not recommend

Issel_M, Jun 2022
I have to say that I was disappointed with this tour. First, most of the guides provided very limited information around the sights we visited, and often could not answer basic questions related to them. Secondly, the logistics were beyond messy. Flights were often very late giving little room for rest. Once night, we even had a flight delayed by 5 hours and received no support from the tour agency and a general unwillingness to try an adjust anything around the schedule to allow us to get some rest. The hotels were ok, but even breakfast was often offered after the tour bus picked us up (tours would pick us up at 8am while breakfast was served at 8:30), meaning that breakfast actually ends up coming out of your pocket in some instances. Schedules were often provided the night before, which assumed we had wifi (not always a given), and the general plan often changed and new prices for planned sights emerged at the last minute. We also had to spend an extensive amount of time in stores and shops.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that the tour did not fully meet your expectations. We regret that some guide experiences and the pace of the itinerary were not as you had hoped. We work with licensed local guides and regularly review feedback to ensure quality, and your comments have been shared with our team for further review. Regarding flights and scheduling, domestic flights are operated by the airlines and, on rare occasions, significant delays or rescheduling can occur beyond our control. In such cases, our priority is to ensure guests are safely transferred to their accommodation as soon as possible, which is what our local team aimed to do. We understand how tiring these situations can be. As this was a multi-destination group tour, some schedules, pickup times, and optional activities may be finalized closer to the travel date based on logistics and availability. Shopping or comfort stops are part of standard group tour operations, though participation is always optional. We appreciate your feedback, as it helps us continue refining our communication and coordination. Thank you for traveling with us. Kind regards, Tours Flame

do not book with Tours Flame

Amanda_F, May 2022
This review is for the tour company, Tours Flame, and not the locations themselves. The company just moves bodies to fill seats, and gives you very few details, or last minute details. I didn't even get the itinerary until 2 days before the trip and there is a 330am pickup for a 7am flight to Izmir, meaning that you wait around the airport for 2-3 hours before your flight. Someone has your name on a poster, they shuttle you to a transport van but don't tell you where you are going, and then drop you off and shove you on a bus and don't tell you where you are going. Fortunately I met an Italian lady at the airport so we could be confused together. In addition, the itinerary said we would be provided breakfast, so we didn't buy anything at the airport. Meantime, we were both on a big bus (the itinerary said small, boutique tour, 10-15 people max). Turns out another bus broke down so there was a spanish language tour sharing the bus - 28 people. Also, when we were on the bus, we were already on our tour of Ephesus! I turned to the people next to me and asked "are we on the tour?". They said yes. I thought that we would have time to change after flying, and I had loaded my suitcase onto the bus so I asked the driver if I could crawl under the bus and get my shorts and sunscreen (you cannot fly with sunscreen of a certain size in your carryon, so I checked it). That was just the first day. Multiple tour agencies book seats on these buses and transport vans, so you might make friends with people who you shared a tour with and never see them again. Overall, I would definitely not recommend Tours Flame. Other people used Crowded House and other companies and were on the same tours and vans. Again, they are just moving bodies and filling seats. I know it's a budget tour but really they could do so much better with information and coordination. I highly suggest that the person at Tours Flame communicating with us (we were all talking to him via whatsapp and talking amongst ourselves about the poor communication) take his own tour. I'd make suggestions and he would respond condescendingly. He told one person his wife is sick and me that he was sick. Who knows. He should go on his tour so he knows what is happening.

Response from Host, Dec 2025

Dear Amanda, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We’re genuinely sorry to hear that your experience did not meet your expectations. Tours Flame operates licensed, multi-day group tours in partnership with local operators to allow travelers to visit multiple regions within a short timeframe. As outlined in our tour description, pickup times and logistics for domestic flights are scheduled early to ensure smooth connections, and final itineraries are confirmed close to departure due to flight availability and regional coordination. Our small-group tours operate independently and are organized according to the group size stated in the itinerary. We do not combine different tour groups, and each tour is managed by its assigned vehicle, guide, and local operator. All sightseeing, guiding, and inclusions remain as promised. Breakfast availability, luggage handling, and tour flow are communicated in advance and again by local staff on arrival. Guides are present throughout the tour to assist, and our team remains available via WhatsApp for real-time support. We regret that the tour style did not align with your personal travel preferences. Our tours are best suited for travelers who are comfortable with a structured itinerary and a fast-paced schedule designed to maximize sightseeing across multiple destinations. Thank you for traveling with us and for taking the time to share your perspective. Kind regards, Tours Flame

Perfectamente organizado y una atención inigualable

Jose_C, Sep 2023
