This was an amazing tour. Highly recommend going as early as possible. We were greeted right off our cruise ship by friendly folks and taken to a couple of cars. (We had a group of 6, plus 1 extra from the ship). They made sure we had snorkel gear in hand (we all brought our own) and then drove to the park entrance. The bay was about a 10 minute walk through a well groomed trail, where the guides talked about some of the birds and other animals in the area.
The bay itself was beautiful and tucked away. Soft sand beaches, and a nice entry into the water, with a shoreline reef right off the beach. The guides (we had 2) split up, 1 watching gear and the other in the water with us. We snorkeled for a couple hours, eventually getting out once the boat tours started doing their 20-30 minute drops of 20 people in the water with life vests.
The water was clear, and tons and tons of fish were seen.
After the snorkel, we played in the water on the beach a bit, sipping water and beers. When we were all ready to go back, no pressure from the guides, we took the 10 minute hike back to the road, and then the guides drove us to a couple wonderful lookout spots to see more bays, and whales.
It was very chill and relaxing, and both guides were incredibly knowledgeable and friendly. Hugo and Matteo were a good combo!

This was a beautiful beach and our guide, Eduardo, was informative and interesting, with great English, and he took good care of us . The bay felt safe, but the snorkeling was disappointing: dead coral and few fish, though the swimming was beautiful.

We were pleasantly surprised by the wealth of experiences offered by this tour. Javier, our guide, impressed us with his exceptional knowledge of the area and its history. The seamless coordination of our hotel pickup at the agreed time set the tone for a well-organized excursion. As we embarked on the hike, Javier expertly highlighted numerous points of interest along the trail, enriching our journey with fascinating insights. The climax of the trek unveiled a hidden gem – a serene bay boasting a vast reef teeming with diverse marine life. Javier made sure we were safe and enjoying the experience the whole time as we weren't experienced with snokelling. When we finished he had ice cold water and beer waiting for us. This truly was an amazing excursion. Highly recommened

Hello from Paradise
First Time ever we get this type of comment.
I like to think it was meant for other provider:
To start with the price you paid for included a certified tour guide with the credentials to walk you in the National Park, taxi driver CAN NOT DO IT , They aren't allowed. Our guide spoke enough English to guide you in land and water, I don't think your taxi driver would do it.
Most likely you did a private tour , you and your parter , if you didn't the worst was one more couple with you, up to this point we never had taken more that 4 pax.
Don't know if your taxi driver could have found the entrance to the National Park (that is not the main entrance)they usually are naive about cultural , educational, nature tours. You couldn't find it on your own*( the entrance to the trail)* even if you spoke perfect Spanish.
We provided you with some drinks, little beer and cold water for both ; taxi driver don't even give you peanuts. Forget about the map ; we are the only Company in Huatulco that provides you with one , don't take that in the count but, taxi drivers of course don't offer one.
Some times is disappointing when tourist expect the same prices some as others country.
