Was a bit disappointed as there's no boat ride at the end of the program due to their boat technical problems. However the five stars are given for our knowledgeable and cheerful guide, Mr Vu and our driver who was right on time and friendly. My Son site was interesting despite the super hot weather. Well worth the visit.

Clear communication prior to the trip and the itinerary was well organized. Mr Lee was fantastic. Very informative, funny, and helpful. Highly recommend. I’m giving a five star review for Mr Lee.
Only negative feedback is that we were scheduled to be picked up at 12:30. At 12:28 I received a message the van was “still” waiting. I was standing there with the driver at exactly 12:30 just waiting for my son to quickly use the bathroom in the hotel lobby and at 12:33 I received another message they would leave without us. Given that they had asked us to reschedule from our original date and we paid a surcharge during tet, it was a little aggressive to complain about waiting for a family with children for 3 minutes past the pickup time.

Overall a good experience. The ruins were magnificent. The tour itself rushed and we had difficulty communicating with the operator. It took a lot of effort to establish the plans. However, the guide was nice but perhaps inexperienced. It was a fast shuffle between stages of the tour. The boat ride seemed unnecessary and we could have been happier with more time at the archaeological site. My mistake for booking with boat.

We really enjoyed our trip to my sons with Mr Ben who was very knowledgeable and looked after us, our group was nice as well. This was a good way to see a bit more of hoi an and we felt this trip completed our angkor temple trip and learn about the history of these ancient temples and how they have similarities

The half day visit to the My Son UNESCO World Heritage sanctuary is a must do experience from Da Nang/Hoi An. I was staying in Da Nang, and was picked up in the morning and transferred to the trip starting point in Hoi An. A small group of tourists were then put together in a van, which takes about an hour to reach the My Son sanctuary. During the drive, our knowledgable guide Mr. Phillip provided us with a lot of information about the place, and how it fits into the overall history of Vietnam. Once we reached there, we were supposed to buy the entrance tickets ourselves (not included in the tour package), which cost 150K VND per person. Much of the sanctuary was severely affected by the bombing during the Vietnam war, but temples belonging to groups B, C and D are in a reasonably good shape, and are amazing to look at, while restoration work is being carried out at other temple sites. There is a cultural program in the theatre at the My Son site, where traditional music and dances of the Champa people are performed for the guests. The My Son site itself is surrounded by lush green nature and is highly enjoyable. Once the site visit was over, we were transferred to a home in a Vietnamese village en route to Hoi An, and were served fresh Vietnamese traditional lunch, which could be tailored for vegans and vegetarians as well (one needs to let the tour organizers know in advance). Finally, after the lunch, we drove back to Hoi An, where we did a boat cruise on the Thu Bon river for about 20 minutes. Overall, it was a very nice and memorable trip. My only complaint would be that the organizers should provide more time to the guests to explore the My Son site on their own.

Our guide was very friendly and informative. We had a nice small group of only 12 people. The ruins were quite busy (but not too bad). I definitely recommend going early to avoid the heavier crowds and the heat. There was a performance at the ruins which was a nice surprise. They accommodated vegetarians at lunch and provided plenty of food, but it was just okay (flavor wise). The boat ride at the end was a nice way too break up the return trip to Hoi An.

A great tour of My Son Sanctuary - our guide Mr Toàn was incredibly knowledgeable about the history of the site and the Champa people and has an excellent way or telling their story and explaining things. We learnt so much! Thoroughly recommend.

Thoroughly enjoyed our trip to My Son with our guide Bari who ensured that ‘Team Bari’ was always on track. Loved hearing the history of the temple complex and the Champa dancing display was fun to watch. Lunch at a local home was very tasty and the boat trip down the river was a lovely end to the tour and gave us a different view of colourful Hoi An. Bari is rightly proud of his home town

It’s really rushed. This is a spiritual place and we were raced through it. Couldn’t keep up with the guide who was walking 25 metres ahead and talking. One person disappeared from the group and I don’t know how he got home.

My Son was breathtaking. If you like Ankor Wat in Cambodia, you'll will enjoy My Son as well. Our tour guide, Phillip was very knowledgeable about the My Son site, Vietnamese history and also informed us about the Vietnamese culture. I highly recommend this tour. Very good communication the day before throught WhatsApp.

This was a perfect half day trip from Hoi An. Mr Lee was our guide and he was amazing. His knowledge and English was fantastic and he was so great with our family, especially our 7 year old son who adored him. He was so friendly and shared incredible information and made the day so enjoyable. We would highly recommend this tour. It's highly organised and well run. Thankyou Mr Lee!

Just getting a ride out to My Son is well worth the low cost. I thought that this tour was 'on your own' but the tour guides came in with us and seemed very determined to have the group stick together. I would have liked to have had time to go to the museum on-site but we sped walked through the sanctuary so we could see the 'traditional dance'. I would have skipped the dance part. We ended up seeing traditional dance stuff on other days and other tours and at the airport on the way out. My son was an interesting place but very little information around the ruins about the Cham culture. You definitely need a guide to tell you about the ruins and history. We ended up going to the Cham Museum in Da Nang days later to see the sculptures that were removed from My Son in order to preserve them. The traditional simple Vietnamese lunch that the tour guides took us to was simple, tasty and filling. The boat 'tour' was mostly a 10-15 minute trip down river from Hoi An (we were already almost in Hoi An)... but I loved being on the water. Natalie and David were really nice tour guides as they gain more experience they will continue to hone their skills.

Le sanctuaire My Son est extraordinaire, c’est à voir absolument. Malgré que le tour soit en anglais, le guide ne parlait pas un anglais acceptable, personne ne le comprenait. De plus il ne connaissait pas du tout le sanctuaire, à part nous dire qu’il avait été bombardé. Le dîner chez l’habitant est une farce, pire repas de tout notre voyage ai Vietnam. Les autres arrêts ne nous ont pas intéressés non plus.

Ich wurde per Auto in Da Nang abgeholt plus 2 weitere Personen.
Abholung vom Hotel, Transfer nach Hoi An hat super geklappt.
Dort kam nach ein paar Minuten der Bus mit den Teilnehmern ab Hoi An.
Unser Tourguide war sehr nett und hat uns viel erzählt.
Das Essen danach war ok, genauso wie die Bootsfahrt.
Wer wollte konnte bis 17:30 Uhr in Hoi An bleiben oder wurde direkt im Anschluss zurück gefahren.
Definitiv das Geld wert 👍🏻

Bary est un guide très gentil, dynamique et prévenant. Nous avons beaucoup appris sur My Son (dont la prononciation) grâce à lui. Il nous a aussi permis d’en apprendre plus sur la culture locale. Le repas compris était très bon et assez copieux ! La balade en bateau était sans doute ce que nous avons le moins aimé mais ça reste très sympa à faire.
Si vous venez de Da Nang, la navette est comprise dedans et peut vous faire repartir directement après ou dans la soirée si vous voulez profiter de Hoi An.

Molto preparata e collaborativa la guida (bravissimo Mr Nghia).
Sostituirei il piatto di noodles con spring rolls più adatti ai gusti di un turista.
