My Son Cultural Experience

If you love history,culture, and ancient architecture, then this is a must-see. Beware the heat and pace yourself though. The tour guide, Thao, was extremely helpful and helped the guests work through some challenges. One girl got sick so he arranged transport so that she could get out of the heat. Our group also got stuck behind some traffic so he made sure there was an alternate plan to get us to the boat and the sick guest back to her hotel. He also arranged the transportation for me from Da Nang despite some confusion with the original booking. Caution: Most tours to My Son seem to originate from Hou An. But it worked out and Thao took care of it.

The tour was perfect. We booked at very short notice and yet everything worked flawlessly, from communication to picking us up in front of the hotel. The area and ruins of the My Son Sanctuary were impressive, but our outstanding tour guide Thao made it all happen, who not only provided us with a lot of knowledge for a short time, but always acted with wit and charm and also ours Answered questions and acted as a photographer at the same time. Absolutely thrilled, so we booked another tour with him immediately afterwards. After the visit, Thao "kidnapped" us on a boat, where a barbecue was already waiting for us. We ended the excursion with a ride into the sunset and delicious skewers. Both Thao, our driver and the captain of the boat were incredibly nice and personable. Thanks for this great experience!
