So much we had a great experience with Hellen! The driver was nice to and brought us 4 waters for the journey, the ancient ruins were beautiful to see and so fun to explore, they had a cultural show that was super cool to see as well!

Lovely tour with Man today. He knew exactly where to go to avoid the crowds and give us a detailed explanation of the history of the site and all of the beautiful and intricate religious symbols there. Definitely worth the easy trip out of Hoi An!

Superb half day private tour of My Son

Our private half day tour of My Son Sanctuary with our guide Tina was excellent. Tina had so much information to share and we also enjoyed hearing about her day to day life in the area. Our pick up time was 0700 hrs and this allowed us to get to My Son before it started getting very busy at around 0930-1000 hrs. The cultural performance (music and dance) outdoors at 0900 was beautiful.

I had a wonderful experience on my Viator tour of Mỹ Sơn Temple, guided by Tai Vo Ngoc, who has over 20 years of experience in the area. Tai was kind, gentle, and extremely knowledgeable. He did an excellent job placing the temple within its historical context and clearly explaining the history and influence of the Champa civilization throughout Southeast Asia, which made the site come alive in a meaningful way. His English was excellent and very easy to understand, and our conversations flowed naturally and felt well balanced, not rushed or scripted. Beyond his expertise, Tai has a genuinely warm and positive spirit, and it was a true pleasure to spend the morning with him at such an extraordinary cultural site. I highly recommend this tour and Tai as a guide.

We had a wonderful tour! I am very glad that we started at 6 AM in the morning because we were able to visit the site without too much of a crowd and before the heat of the day. Tai was a fantastic guide and tailored the experience to us. We had great communication on WhatsApp prior to departure. The best part about starting so early is that we were done by 10:30 in the morning and back to our hotel in Hoi An.

Beautiful temple but visiting solo is better

The temple is beautiful and definitely worth a visit. Don’t miss the traditional dance show that happens twice in the morning! The site is quite small, so it can get crowded quickly. Even if you go early before 10am, it's already very hot, so I recommend bringing a long-sleeved shirt and an umbrella for shade. There are QR codes throughout the temple, which make it easy to explore on your own and learn about the rituals and significance of each area. The guides tend to rush through their explanations, and honestly, the private tour didn’t add much value. So if you're thinking of going solo go ahead. People are super nice and helpful in the site.

We highly recommend going on the private tour if able as we got there by 8am and had the ribs nearly to ourselves. We even got to see one of the two large monkeys (which they said it very rare occurrence)! On our way out of the ribs at 10, the line to get in was like a Disney ride. Our guide Emma taught us so much & was a delight as well!

This is the best way to see My Son. Our guide slowly took us through the entire region, explaining as we went. Had we just been set free ( as the large bus tours were), we would not have learnt so much about these temples and the Cham people.

We had a fabulous tour to My Son. Our guide Truong was so knowledgeable, really he was fantastic. We definitely recommend getting a private van and guide. It was raining the day we went but this didn’t deter from our day at all. Ponchos and umbrellas and walking shoes. We loved it!!

Best way to experience My Son

We had a wonderful time visiting My Son with Mr Nhuoc as our tour guide. The early morning tour worked great for us: we were picked up at 6am directly from our hotel in Hoi An, and were able to wander around My Son before the heat -- and also with very few other visitors at the same time as us. Mr Nhuoc was also a fantastic tour guide, walking us through not only the history of My Son, but also sharing with us insights into Vietnamese culture and everyday life along the way.

Such a good tour to do if you are in Hoi An. Our guide (I believe his name was Kevin, but I am not sure) shared a lot of information at the ruins, but also a lot of information about Vietnam on the way there and back. We definitely enjoyed it and appreciated the cold towels the driver had prepared for us as we went on the hottest day of the month.

Mr Tai is an excellent tour guide - funny and knowledgable, and he can help arrange other tours or transport for you. He was very accommodating of my elderly parents on a hot day, making sure they had rest breaks and chairs. There’s an electric car which gets you to the circuit. We did the morning tour, and learnt a lot.

Good tour & knowledgeable tour guide; highly recommended. Hindu temple site is much smaller than Angkor Wat in Cambodia but definitely interesting for first time visitors.

The guide while enthusiastic spoke very bad English. His pronunciation and lack of ability to explain the sites ruined the experience. Reading the info boards outside some of the ruins showed us what we were missing. I would recommend people just do the free audio tour instead of this company.
