The sights are worth seeing but go with a different guide or company. My guide was late, in a bad mood, and his driving was erratic. He gave very little explanation of the sights and rushed through the tour. I felt uncomfortable.

It wasn’t the tour we booked but it was still enjoyable and interesting. Apparently there were two Mary’s staying in the hotel with the same pick-up time and we ended up on each other’s tours. A bit of a disappointment to not go to the caves and craters and to not have an English speaking guide but we did learn a lot and Martin was very good. I translated when necessary and we had a good day.

The caves were epic! I had a terrific time on my cave excursion around Rapa Nui. My tour was a private one and my guide Vai was knowledgeable and insightful. Learning about the caves, the island, the history, the culture and the traditions deepened my experience and made my trip even more memorable. I highly recommend this trip!

Climbing through the caves was unique and interesting. The legend of the 7 Moai was fascinating as well as the astronomical alignment.

Tour did not happen. Booked a half day tour of the crater and caves ended up on a 10 hr tour of the moai sites. We were travelling with our two small children (1 & 4) and at no point did they say our tour had changed. It was also not private and we had to drive ourselves. The lack of communication was shocking.
