I used this tour company for all of my tours on Rapa Nui. I highly recommend this tour as well as their other full day tour to basically see everything there is on the island. The pickup from the hotel was awesome, and Franco and Bai did a good job at pointing out some local history which was necessary to understand what we were seeing. Highly recommend! The tour company was also amazing with communication via whatsapp and flexible to book even less than 24 hours in advance!

Eva our tour guide was extremely impressive with her knowledge of the island. She is very proud of her traditions and heritage and this makes the trip even more memorable. Well done tour!!

This is not a tour that takes you to see the main sites on the Island. This is a typical second day tour. It does not last a full day 10 to 3....basically. After this tour we booked a tour locally to see the main sites. This starts with a trip through a cave which is wet and slippery...not a problem for us but we expected to see the Moai's. Since you have to have a guide, we had to book a second tour...the guide was good....I consider this a 1/2 day tour.

The tour was very interesting. The guide and driver picked us up on time from our hotel and made the tour informative and enjoyable.

Excellent view into the history of Rapa Nui, I learned so much! Was very happy to see the sites included in this tour.

In the land of the Moai, almost 1000, we saw 7. There were 23 people on our bus. The tour guide also drove, so there was no narrative while he was driving. There were both English & Spanish speakers so discussions and questions had to be translated..
We visited 6 sites including a cave. The cave took over an hour, to walk to it and through it. It was dark and we had to use cell phone flashlights, lots of water on the floor and low ceilings. Completed waste of time.
Some of the remaining 5 sites in 3 hours were good, others not.
When the guy told us we were at our last (the 6th site) most of us were surprised. He then took us back to the pickup site. We did tip him but from what we saw, no one else did.
Sorry we missed more of Easter Island.

This is not what I was expecting! Name of the sites are unfamiliar but this tour won't bring you to those famous sites like 15 Moai place and moai factory. Instead some less known places like some ancient caves...
This is actually the second day of two days tour
Response from Host, Dec 2025
Hi sir, in the tour that you hire is not included 15 Moai and the quarry. This is another tour that we have. Full day Tour in RapaNui includes the caves an other sites.
Ben_C, Dec 2025
This tour was amazing. Merahi was so knowledgeable and patient in answering all our questions. Mauricio was an excellent driver. They made a final stop that had the best view of the volcano for our pics. They have our top recommendation.
Ben_P, Dec 2025
Very good tour with great explanations from Frank about the Quarry / caves / birdman cult.
Unfortunately we had to be quick going around Orongo/volcano due to a recent landslide but Frank explained the history in the visitor centre.
Tiago_E, Oct 2025
We loved the tour, since we got to explore the best on the west side of the island, including caves and a vulcano.
Lucie_M, Jul 2025
We booked the sunrise tour to Ahu Tongariki the evening before, and the process was super easy. We were able to pay in Chilean pesos, and pickup from our hotel was right on time. Our guide, Tavi, was incredibly friendly, and made sure we had a great experience. One of our friends accidentally left her purse at the hotel, and Tavi kindly picked it up and brought it back to us. The views at sunrise were absolutely breathtaking—truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Highly recommend this tour.

Grab your water & snack/lunch and get ready for a fabulous day all around the whole Island! We learned so much about the history of the native Rapa Nui people and the creation of the magnificent Moai statues. Fernanda and Nicolas are absolutely amazing; they take great care of the group all day!
Stephen_H, May 2025
Excellent, informative tour of many of the significant sites in Rapa Nui National Park. Our guide, Enrique, gave us a great backdrop of the historical, cultural, and natural significance of each site we visited. Since the entire national park is too big and spread out to be seen in one day, this tour is an excellent way to experience about half of the park’s main sites.
Janet_W, Apr 2025
The tour guide was a lovely young lady who was very patient with my many, many questions. She gave lots of information and had a sweet disposition
Fujio_H, Feb 2025
It was a great tour. There was a driver and an experienced guide who was a native Rapa Nui, but spoke English fluently and took us to all the sites as time permitted before the cruise ship departed.
Helen_D, Jan 2025
This tour was supposed to be an English tour. But the driver/ guides couldn't speak much English. But the tour was wonderful.
Bernadett_N, Dec 2024
We missed the actual sunrise... only got to the site when the sky was grey, all the nice colours were gone... so it's very disappointing

Reading some of the previous reviews which are more negative I was a bit apprehensive about this booking. However, I need not have worried. Our guide Zoe was excellent and really showcased the island.
This was a great day and we learned a lot about Rapa Nui culture.
There was the option of a lunch stop (which we didn’t take) and there is bathrooms/toilets stops along the way - 2 of the stops.
Overall, would recommend, but in hindsight I should have booked this as the two day tour.

Saw many good things but communication was poor. The guide may have been knowledgeable but did little to engage the group. They never shared an overview of the day, where we were going, how long we would be there, what we would see, or when we could expect restrooms. There was one restroom two hours into the trip. That was it. People were left guessing until the bus door opened what we were in for. Also, it was advertised as an English speaking guide, however, it was also a Spanish speaking tour so everything was repeated in both languages resulting in spending too much time in certain places

We had a great time today...we got to see so many amazing things and our guide was very knowledgeable about his culture here on the island.
ElizabethCullins, May 2024
Good tour but not a full day your done by 2pm of not earlier. The sites are rather quick stops which is fine as you see and learn about cool things. But it’s advertised as a full day. Also no water no snack. Still worth it but they should update the advertisement to be more real/transparent and set you up to have more planned for after
ROSTYK_D, May 2024
very confused pickup, 0930 picked up then went to pickup another pair of guests, 20min then returned to my original pickup point to collect two more guests!! then stopped to buy water - total 75 minutes. Stopped off at tribal cave - wet and very slippery no torch or warning - dark - I led using my hiking stick like a blind person very poor very dangerous!! 4 stops and tour was done - aprox 4 hours (sounds like Gilligan's Island) end 1500, is this a FULL DAY? no water or so called snacks offered - this was just bad!
Gigot_H, Apr 2024
Our tour guide was FANTASTIC. The overall tour did not meet our expectations. There was a lack of communications and mis-communications about our pickup location and time. The tour was advertised for 9:30 start, and we were notified the day before that it was between 12:50 and 10:30. And the only reason we received that notification was because I had messaged asking for confirmation of pickup time AND location. I never received confirmation of pickup location, which added to the stress of gettin on the tour.
Weather prevented us from visiting the caves. Nothing anyone could do about that. We expected to view multiple platforms/sites with Moai, but the entire tour only include one site that included Maoi. If you want to see the various photos of Moai you’ve seen in the Easter Island Brochure, this is not the tour for you. For example, the site in the photo in the tour’s image of multiple Moai, was not included in the tour. We saw more impressive Moai sites on a free walk around the “sunset” area on the beach.
The visit to the “Bird Man” ritual site was very cool.
The tour details of what’s included and what’s not included were also not clear. It said that National Park Pass ticket fees were not included. We assumed that we’d pay those fees when we entered the park on the tour. It turns out that we needed to buy then BEFORE the tour. Fortunately we did that online prior to the tour.
Finally, it is a small detail, but worth noting. The tour information said snacks were were included. They were not. If you want anything to eat between the time they you pick you up and the time they drop you off, ~6 hours later, bring it with you.

The 15 statues were fantastics. The guide was very good. We realy enjoyed the tour in Rapa Nui. Thank you.
Elizabeth_I, Feb 2024
Enzo was our guide and driver and did an excellent job - fascinating tour. There were 7 of us on our tour bus - it was a nice small group of people. There are two tours so if you can stay for 2 days and then do both tours you will see everything that the island has to offer. The history of the Rapa Nui people, the Moai and the Birdman cult are really interesting. We can absolutely recommend this tour
Alison_M, Jan 2024
This was the worst tour we have taken with Viator, we had huge expectations as Easter Island is so amazing, but the tour guide fell well short. Firstly they left without us, the guide didn’t speak acceptable English, she was rude and insulting which resulted in a bad experience for us and other seniors on the tour.
Yinghong_l, Jan 2024
The travel agency merged our couple with other different plan tourism and just execute their plan. Our plan is 7 hours and 6 places full day tour, however the driver picked up at 9:50 and returned at 2:00 pm . We argue with them and then the travel agency assigned another driver to take us to our rest plan.
This is my first time to book tour via Viator and don’t feel good.

Memorable visit with a local expert! I didn’t expect to learn so much about Rapa Nui culture.
I recommend 1000%!

Amazing activity, super recommended, the guide that touched us very kind affectionate and willing to explain everything.
I understood and learned a lot from the culture that was what we were interested in.
As advice to tourists be more respectful of traditions, guides explain and it is important to pay attention, there is time to take photos, but it is important to know the culture, and be respectful of the use of places.
Greetings from Puerto Montt.

Quintessenz: Es gibt kein Trinkgeld!
