We had a private trip with our guide Takerau. We had missed sites due to fog and rain the previous day, so he took us to see the crater and sites with rocks and waves that were actually not on this tour. We loved it! Appreciated getting more history along with scenery.

It was a really great tour!
As my flight was delayed by an hour, Maria fron the agency offered me to start the private tour a little later, which I gladly accepted.
The guide Hetereki showed me beautiful places on the island that we could visit without entering the park, including some Moai sculptures, the church, a cemetery and the harbour, where we saw a turtle. As I only had 2 half days on the island in total, he also drove me to the volcano.
The island is really beautiful and impressive.

This is a good way to see some of the main spots in Hanga Roa, including the church, the fishermen's coves, and the moai at Tahai. My guide Mea Mea was pleasant and answered all my questions. Overall, I would recommend it for someone who wants to see how the locals live.

I was disappointed with this tour. I expected to learn more about the city, its history, and I wanted to see places that may not be otherwise accessible to any tourist.
