A great tour to see something slightly different

First off I want to commend the tour company of this tour, as they were extremely flexible rescheduling my tour when my flight got in 5 hours late! All done over WhatsApp, my tour guidee squeezed me in - the advantage of a private tour. The tour itself is interesting, and is different form the Maoi tours that are normally associated with Rapa Nui. Overall I enjoyed this tour.

Was supposed to be 3.5 hr but was only 2 incl trip to and from town. He should've offered to take us somewhere else. So turned out to be expensive Uber ride. He was informative but not very enthusiastic.

Very informative guide and the views were spectacular. Nevertheless, it is extremely overpriced for what it covers.

Dirty vehicle provided for "Half Day" (actually 2 hour) tour!

The "Half Day" private tour was actually a 2 hour tour. The vehicle was an extremely dirty van (for 2 people + driver/guide) with cat hair everywhere. The guide arrived 25 minutes late and did not have water on-board. When I mentioned that water was "included" he did stop at a store and bought 2 bottles of water for us. Javier, the guide, did provide good explanations at the 2 sites visited. All in all the $270 cost of this tour was NOT worth it.

Crater

This tour was interesting and I'm glad we went. The crater is beautiful and was the highlight of this short excursion. This isn't the tour to book if you want to see Moai, so be sure to book another tour if that's what you're looking for.

Iorana! Orongo, the ancestral village of the birdman competition is about that, the last era of the ancestral rapa nui civilitation. Its about the Birdman King, not about the moais. In this place you also can find arqueologic and petroglifts. We are glad that you can know about the two eras of the Rapa Nui people :)

Mauvaise expérience

Beaucoup de négatif: - Le retard de notre guide de 50mn ( c’est moi qui est contactée l’agence locale à 12.12 car nous n’avions aucune nouvelle Celle ci m’a dit que la guíe était sur le chemin et en effet elle arrivera 40 mn après ! -Le désintérêt de notre guide sur le site -10mn sur le premier site au lieu d’heure prévu dans le programme -40 mn au lieu de 2hr sur le second site Orongo C’était certes le 1 janvier mais nous avons payé très très cher la prestation presque 250 euros … Cela ne lea vaut pas du tout !! Je suis cliente fidèle Viator et c’est la première fois que nous avons une telle situation et un tel désagrément. J’apprécierai un geste commercial de votre part pour compenser la sensation d’avoir été abus sur ce circuit … Il serait logique d’avoir payé la moitié de cette prestation! Pour le service effectué par la guide. Je compte sur votre professionnalisme et souhaite rester cliente Viator Nous avons encore 3 sorties avec vous dans les 3 jrs à venir … Merci pour votre compréhension et de la suite a y donner.
