Not worth it!!!!

Not worth $250. The guide didn’t speak much English. He was on time in the morning 👍🏼 We had a private tour with absolutely no frills. Others at the site had chairs to sit on brought by their guide. Our guide said “ here you can sit on the ground” after he took us to a spot he left. He came back about 40 minutes later, walked us around the site and then took us back to our hotel. While driving back he turned up his music in the car so we could not speak to him. Very overpriced!!!!

There is not a guarantee there will be a sunrise photo to get. Unfortunately, it was 100% cloudy for us…….bummer. Our guide was fantastic. Picked us up on time. Friendly and professional. Told us the history of the area and got us back to our hotel just fine.

See the Ahu at sunrise. While a blazing sunrise is not guaranteed, it is an amazing location. Tour was a little $$. Especially for 2 people ‘ 3-hours

Best experience, watching the sun come up behind the 15 Miao was spectacular! The cloud cover added to the impressiveness of the sunrise. Mamai is a wonderful guide; fresh local pineapple off of the tailgate at sunrise!! The best!

Just being there is amazing in itself. Having the largest ahu in front of you, and a valcano behind you, gives you lots to focus on. And there is a moi on the ground in-between providing a great reference point to how big the moi are.

A great start to the day..knowledgable, friendly and being from a local ranching family that has been for generations on the island, you couldn’t get a better guide..😁 Also left to wander around myself which I quite like. Highly recommended!

Javier my Guide was ready to pick myself up from my hotel at 6am for the 20 minute drive to Tongariki Park. What a splendid surprise to see and watch the sunrise slowly in the horizon behind these magnificent Moai statues. The experience of this alone was truly astounding and such a pleasure to watch. Javier provided a lot of interesting detail surrounding the history of this amazing place. Wonderful.

Regarding the activity, if the weather is there, which has not been the case today, beautiful photos in perspective. Regarding the guide who had to animate the activity in French, it was not the case, did not speak French, not talkative at all, served us transport!!!
