Exactly as advertised, with very kind guides. I would recommend a certain level of horse back riding experience, as I’m a novice and I think I was accidentally giving my horse mixed signals. But happy I went!

Hello, Your comments refer to the Terevaka horseback riding excursion. This particular tour is a regular shared activity and is not offered or promoted as a fully private tour. Horseback rides operate at scheduled times early in the day because the horses are prepared in advance and departures must follow established safety and operational protocols. The program includes transportation, trained horses, and local certified riders. It is not possible to modify the route or timing once the activity has been confirmed. Our agency manages bookings according to the published details. If a guest requires a different type of experience, we recommend selecting one of our private land tours instead, such as the Moai Factory Full Day or the Orongo & Coast tours. First time horseback rider

Absolutely stunning panoramic views from the top of Maunga Terevaka! You could see the entire island. It was my first time horseback riding, and my horse was mild-mannered and well-traveled. I didn’t need to guide him—he knew exactly where to go. Our tour guide was also knowledgeable and patient with all of us. 10/10 stars for this trip!!
