Itinerary

The Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum Complex is the first historical site you’ll visit on your private tour of Hanoi. See the botanical garden and Presidential Palace where the revolutionary leader lived and worked until his death in 1969.

Next, come upon the restored One Pillar Pagoda, constructed in 1049 and destroyed by the French in 1954 before their withdrawal from colonial rule in Vietnam. Arriving at the Temple of Literature, you’ll learn from your personal guide about this Confucian temple and first national university, built in the 11th century.

Dine on traditional Vietnamese cuisine during lunch at a local restaurant before continuing on to a museum of your choosing, such as the Vietnam Museum of Ethnology or the Hoa Lo Prison Museum (aka Hanoi Hilton).

Visit Ngoc Son (Jade Mountain Temple), situated on an island on Hoan Kiem Lake (Lake of the Restored Sword) where your tour ends in the afternoon. Round-trip hotel transport is included (if option selected).
