I had a great time on the cruise - the boat and amenities are awesome, staff lovely and activities great fun! The staff were great with accommodating dietary requirements which was really appreciated

First of all the boat on the picture is not the one you go on. They have different ones but no one's with the brown sails anymore. Does not matter because the trip was amazing. Pick up was on time. They unfortunately stop at a pearl farm for 30 minutes. Check in was easy and we were only 8 people on board. Max. 10 fit on it. So that was awesome. The food was absolute amazing 5 course menu. The room was big and nice and very comfy bed. The trip was great Chris the guide made such an effort and the cave and fisherman's village was food. I would definitely recommend this trip. Especially this boat.

Fantastic experience - we were treated like VIPs from the moment we arrived at the cruise terminal. The staff at Bahya Cruises were very welcome throughout the trip. The room onboard was cosy but elegantly designed. Food was provided throughout and delicious. I also appreciated the multitude of onboard activities which kept us entertained throughout, including kayaking, shrimp fishing, a tai-chi class, cave exploring, and most of all, happy hour!

We have seen beautiful pictures of the scenic Ha Long Bay on tabloids of Vietnam tourism. So we booked a two days one night cruise through VIATOR .
On the respective day we boarded a cruise liner of Bhaya cruises and were allocated two deck cabins. The cabins were modern with luxurious bathrooms and private decks with sitting arrangements.
It was once in a life time experience. Our ship sailed amidst innumerable towering limestone mounds jutting out of emerald waters of the Gulf of Tonkin. Relaxing on a deck chair and watching countless stars in a moonlit night, no sound only the gentle lapping of the waves, blinking lights from boats anchored in far away coves, made us wonder if heaven was there.
We enjoyed the hospitality of the crews who kept us busy with different activities throughout our journey and also cooked for us delicious foods. These memories will last forever.

Really well organised tour. Food was good, especially the evening meal. The visit to the caves rather short, so was the floating village tour but staff were amazing and cabin quite spacious. The whole thing finished around 10.30am so you are back in Hanoi for lunch

Halong Bay is not to be missed! It is a magical, incredibly beautiful place. When we arrived at port, we were met almost immediately by our cruise manager Dinh Quoc Huy. He was wonderful - a jack of all trades. We were provided with rain jackets for our short walk to our boat as it was raining, but once we arrived the weather cleared. We set off pretty quickly and after a delicious lunch, we were taken to a grotto and given the option of kayaking to it or going on a small boat. Our group of 11 divided up and enjoyed the ride. After that, a climb to the top of a pagoda and a swim on the beach. Back on the boat, Huy gave us a cooking lesson and we enjoyed the spring rolls we made for dinner. After dinner Huy put on Top Gear: Vietnam Special which was great evening entertainment. The next morning, Huy ensured we were the first boat to arrive at Surprise Cave which was also pretty spectacular. Huy even arranged a driver for my son and me to Ninh Binh as we were not heading back to Hanoi. Huy took care of our every need. He was enthusiastic, funny and engaging. Highly recommend!

Really superb cruise. Would highly recommend this tour group -very professional, great service and friendly. Boat was very clean and comfortable with everything you need and more. Beautiful cabin with balcony always amazing view!. There were just 14 of us on the boat so felt really well looked after. Our guide, Huy, was particularly good good English, interesting information, and great fun. They were also very flexible in changing time and contents of dinner for our young daughter she had a small and not-spicy meal up on the top deck during sunset while we enjoyed happy-hour! so we could relax and eat a beautiful 3 course meal in the evening once she was asleep. Halong Bay is beautiful but there are far too many other boats, the water doesn't seem to be coping so well with the impact of so many tourists despite it being world heritage site and the stopping points were frequently visited obviously so liable to get busy.

Great trip with Bhaya cruises and with free upgrade. No more than twenty- five people on boat but made friends with another traveller. The staff were amazing, the sights incredible but most enjoyable was the quiet tranquillity of the cruise compared with the intoxicating energy of Hanoi. An absolute must for anyone!

feel like we way over paid for this trip! 650USD for one night on a touristy boat??? got a free upgrade to Terrace Room....was nice but no time to enjoy.

The 2-day Halong Bay tour couldn't possible have been better organised. From the moment we were picked-up at our hotel in Hanoi till we returned, everything was arranged with clockwork precision. The sights were incredible, the cave experience amazing. The boat was comfortable, but most of all the crew was sooo friendly and helpful. We enjoyed every moment of it. Great value for money. And. oh, the food was great, too.

A thoroughly enjoyable experience. We went with one of our daughters, her husband and 2 children 13and 11 years old. what an experience for us and especially our two grandsons. 14 passengers so extremely well looked after by all staff. One of our grandsons has allergies and this was all taken care of. extremely happy and would love to go again .

Room, voyage, hospitality was very good.
Hot water in the shower immediately become water, and wait a little it return to the hot water.
Food was delicious, but it was not as luxurious as expected.
It was a 2 story small ship, the passengers were only 13 people.
Nationalities were the United Kingdom, the United States, Australia, Singapore, and Japan.
Of course, in the ship, you can also use the Wi-Fi in the pick-up of the microbus.

I can't say enough good things about this cruise. The staff are amazing, the planing and tours are well organised, the service is superb, the meals and choices are good, and the sheer beauty of the bay is breathtaking. I must say I will be a repeat customer. Well done guys.
