- Sometimes, you will see garbages on Ha Long Bay due to changes in flowing water and tides, garbages from other places come to to Ha Long Bay. Government, local people, travel companies... are trying their best to clean up Ha Long Bay

One of the best tours I’ve ever done. Although a bit crowded at time Ha Long bay and the cave experience were beyond our expectations. We booked the private tour for 4 and literally had an entire tour boat alone. Our guide Ha was exceptional. Great conversations excellent knowledge and fun to spend the day with. Highly recommend this option for a Halong day stop. And ask for Ha for your guide.

The ship is good, staff super friendly, meal excellent, combo of stops for kayak / boat, cave walk and view climb ending off with sunset 'party' great DJ EDM was so much fun. Best money I spent in Vietnam.
Don't bring plastic water bottles. They will be confiscated. Be prepared to say no to hard sell on pearls and drinks. They bill the latter at the end and can be more than the whole cruise.

It’s a very full - half day cruise with lots of brilliant aspects. Wear sturdy shoes for the cave / climb. The caves are stunning, as is the climb to the summit of Ti Top the views are brilliant. And the sunset disco on the way back was awesome. (And happy hour was a bonus). Great value for money and superb staff.

The tour itself is as described BUT they hire inexperienced tour operators to run the tours. Our guide smoked , coughed , and sat on his phone all afternoon , giving poor to no instructions. When I let Viator know - they said sorry …. This isn’t a reason to request a refund. STAY AWAY from this tour company. They take zero responsibility and do NOT hire appropriate tour guides , and DO NOT stand behind their name !!!!

Regarding your specific complaints:
Professional Conduct: I have worked with this company and this specific guide long enough to vouch for their professionalism. While the guide did smoke, it was done in a designated area where it is legally permitted and where other guests were also smoking. In our local context, this is standard behavior.
Group Tour Dynamics: You booked a shared/group tour, yet you consistently demanded that the guide prioritize your personal requests over the needs of the group. It is worth noting that no other guests on this trip expressed any dissatisfaction.
Mutual Respect: We strive to welcome everyone to our country with open arms, but we expect guests to show respect to our guides and our local customs in return.
We stand by our team and our service standards. Based on your behavior and lack of respect toward our staff, we feel that our tours are not the right fit for you. We strongly suggest adjusting your approach to local cultures and service staff when traveling abroad in the future. Respect must be mutual.
Finally, we see no grounds for a refund. We have fulfilled every aspect of our commitment and delivered the services exactly as agreed upon. Really loved traversing through Halong Bay via a boat. Got a little more than I anticipated, I was thinking small speedboat and this was a large barge, big enough to hold prob 50-75 people (make sure you know what you’re getting) our guide was awesome, the lunch served was awesome. Appreciated how we could customize the sites to which we went and they even arranged a ride back from the meet location to the cruise boat. The only thing I didn’t appreciate was when lunch lady asked for a tip. Then told us we needed to tip the deck hand, and then took us to the captain to also tip the captain. This was in addition to the boat guide. Little over the top but all in all a good excursion.

The guide and captain were very hospitable and friendly. The information about the trip itself could be more detailed. Kayaking and Swimming in my mind means swimsuits and more water activity. I would suggest water resistant clothing instead. Communication with operator was very fast. The tour stops are super crowded. This destination was too touristy and Ha Long Bay is overrated in my personal opinion. I would not repeat. Wine was $45 USD and low quality. Food served on the boat was fresh.

All boats must follow a rigid, pre-approved route, and we cannot change the itinerary to avoid other groups. This strict compliance is mandatory for conservation, which sadly leads to overcrowding at specific points. It is a situation we cannot change, and we sincerely hope for your understanding.
Regarding the drinks, items served on board are typically priced higher than on the mainland due to offshore logistics. However, I will re-evaluate our wine menu and pricing immediately to make sure it provides better value for our guests.

Everything was good, the schedule pick up kind a late, but I understand about the traffic. Our local tour guide, Kimi, were coming from Hanoi with other group, that will going on "Ha long Bay half day tour" too. Lunch served right away, the food it's okay. The only reason I gave 4 stars, because the time in each stop is very short, kind a rush.
Kimi was communicated with me via Whatsapp the day before the tour and constantly the day of tour, letting me know the situation on his end and how to look for him. His English very good.

Overall, the tour was excellent. The boat was very, very nice and impressive. The buffet advertised was really served family style with a variety of delicious items. The various stops very nice , too crowded. It was so crowed at the cave I just stayed on the boat.
When we were heading back to town after the tour there was a party on the top of the boat with snacks and nice music for dancing. It was an enjoyable tour and I would highly recommend.
The price was great!!

Great way to see the islands of Halong Bay. Boat was very comfortable, lunch provided is Vietnamese and is a lot. We decided to stay on the boat instead of the beach or hike and if you do you'll be entertained with the "bumper boats" getting to the stairs and back. The bamboo boat ride was incredible and we got to see them feeding the monkeys too. The hike up to the cave wasn't too bad (even for us old people). Quo our tour guide kept us informed and was helpful on the activities. He was very knowledgeable and shared his knowledge about the sites and Vietnam. Highly recommend him.

We did not go to the tour. The tour provider contacted me on Whats App which l was not aware until the day of the tour. On my previous travel the communication was done through the Viator app. The provider on this tour was asking us to pay the transportation to Hanoi which l thought was included in the tour. Why would l booked a tour to Hanoi if the transportation is not included. The add for that tour on the Viator app for incomplete.

A memorable experience! WOW! We enjoyed everything we did in this 6 hr. cruise. Great variety of stops and loved the kayaking portion too. Kimi is a master of his craft and made everyone feel special. He would answer every question asked with detail and precision. Nice touch with the rooftop snacks and wine on our way back to port. Created a very festive atmosphere for the entire group!

From the moment we saw the beautiful boat we knew we were in for a treat! This tour was amazing and one of the highlights of our trip to Asia. We booked this instead of a cruise excursion and it was the best decision to go with a private tour instead of those offered by Celebrity cruises. Not only was it more affordable, but it was personalized and more comprehensive. The lunch served on the boat was over the top and consistent of 12 plates. The food kept coming and it was quite gourmet. The staff was extremely attentive and friendly and the boat was elegant and immaculate. Highly recommend!

Excellent trip and value for money. Halong Bay busy with boats but a wonderful experience. The caves were impressive and the bamboo boat ride was fun. We were well fed with lovely Vietnamese food. Our guide was friendly and helpful, only negative point was we couldn't always hear what our guide was saying on the boat as the sound system was poor. An excellent 6 hour trip.

Ha Long Bay is a must see! This tour not offered amazing views of the bay and cave but also a good lunch. The only reason it is not 5 stars is due to the confusion of having 3-4 tours on one boat, but for the money that was not an issue. The staff on the boat was amazing.

I think you should have about 5 hours 30 minutes for boat trip, from 12.30pm - 6pm, including time for cave, kayak & island. Or you mean 3-4 hours without cave, kayak & island?
