Not a train or a true experience

This tour is falsely marketed. Although it does mention a bus in the detailed description, it also mentions a train and the photos displayed and the name of the tour falsely represent the true experience. They note there is the option of taking the tour via train or by bus, however, at the one meeting location mentioned, there's no train station so the only option is the bus. The bus was filthy - there was gum under several of the handles - we moved seats, crumbs on the seat, and no soap in the bathroom the bus - was definitely not clean to meet COVID protocols. The images show a beautiful Agave field. Where we went, there were 4 rows of large agave and mostly dead. It looked nothing like the fields shown in the images by the travelers so I'm not sure where these photos were taken. You don't get to see the inside of the factory where it's made as shown in the images. All you are shown is the man in the field breaking the agave plant - wish I could give a better explanation however, this process was explained in Spanish. We booked an English tour, most of the group spoke Spanish and the whole car ride explanation was in Spanish. This made us feel really out of place because we never knew what people were cheering about and we just clapped aimlessly. Our tour guide did attempt to translate for my friend and me and the other English-speaking couple but he was not fluent in English and we got a very short description lasting about a minute rather than the 5-10 minute explanations everyone else was getting. It was really disappointing because he couldn't answer many of our questions because of the language barrier or even explain the processes to us of making tequila. We also never were told what we were going to do in English, we always had to go find the tour guide and ask what was going on or where should we meet. I had an upset stomach therefore wasn't drinking on the tour. My friend possibly had 4 drinks. We spoke with a few people on the tour and they said they didn't feel a thing from any of the drinks and were drinking triple the amount - they probably water down the drinks. Their process to make the drinks on the bus was an absolute mess also. They spilled drinks on people and the drinks are weak. I was really disappointed with our experience. Although I had an upset stomach, I was still looking forward to seeing the culture of the beautiful city, learning about the processes, and seeing how tequila is processed while enjoying the city. This tour is not meant for you if you arent fluent in Spanish.

Maybe my expectations did not match the cost.

We purchased English guided tour, it wasn't. Only two kinds of tequila to taste. The tequila shop is quite nice. Entertainment was awesome. My husband did not enjoy the trip. I did but I speak spanish.

The tour was an amazing experience. Our tour guide was incredibly funny, knowledgeable, and very attentive to what we needed. I would also like to give recognition to the gentlemen that were serving us the day we went. The palomas were delicious! Food was great upon destination. Overall, a great experience.
