I always try to do a Viator in each city that I go to with a local tour guide. Naomi was great and I contacted her a few days before and she found out what I wanted to do my interest and she tailored my day tour. She was on time met me at our pick up Location and was professional and knew the city.

This tour only includes two restaurants and does not provide an abundance of food to sample from a variety of restaurants. The majority of the time was spent on a walking cultural tour in the heat. This tour is not recommended.

I thoroughly recommend Noemi’s tour. Her passion for her city and culture are infectious. I came away knowing more than I ever imagined I would about Gaudalajara and wider Mexico in terms of history, culture, customs, art, music, food, and more.
Noemi has clearly put a lot of work into planning the tour. We visited all the major sights in the city centre, plus a whole lot of other less well-known things and small details that I would otherwise have missed. We tried a wide variety of different food and drink. The tour aided me in getting my bearings in the city, and Noemi’s advice really helped me make the most of the remainder of my trip.
Throughout the whole day Noemi had boundless energy. She is a gold mine of information, all delivered with humour, warmth and of course in absolutely perfect English.

An incredible walking tour! Naomi was nothing short of an amazing tour guide. Being a "Tapatios" she is not only proud of her city but a wealth of knowledge be it history, places to visit as well as where to eat. I had an amazing day eating my way through the cultural sites of Guadalajara. I highly recommend booking this tour with Naomi.

Noemi was such a great guide! My boss and I were in town for a couple days on a work trip and only had one day off to explore Guadalajara. Since I had never been I really wanted to make the most of it and see as many major sites as possible, experience the culture, learn, and try a variety of local food. And this tour truly delivered in all aspects. Noemi knew so much about the area and was a true pleasure to spend the day with. One of my favorite things about her tour is that it was not like the typical super tourist'y tours you often get while on vacation and it was clear that there was no back end deals with merchants and restaurants. This is her own small business where she clearly put a lot of work and study into planning a fun and informative route where she takes you to her own personal favorite food spots and stands (all wonderful with a nice variety) but also allows plenty of room for customization: say your more into churches and want to focus more time on that or want to shop a bit while in the huge market: she was very accommodating... The one potential negative (as mentioned by others) is to be ready for a long day... We did over 16k steps and didnt get done till close to 7pm. But it was all at a casual pace that most could handle. Anyways, very highly recommend this tour!

We received an excellent overview of the city, it’s history, culture politics, art, and great food. Neomi was friendly and charming and generally wonderful. Very highly recommended. This was more of a general tour of the city than specifically gastronomic. There definitely was discussion (and eating) of some wonderful food, but also murals, history, churches, neighborhoods. It is a significant amount of walking - ours was 7.3 miles (12k). But it was slow and mostly flat walking. Our tour began at 9 am and didn’t finish until 6 pm.

Amazing tour! Naomi was so great. She gave use a tour of the city, food, sites and history of Guadalajara! Be prepared to eat tons of food! Be prepared to walk! Our 82 year old mother was able to hang in there the entire tour. This was a great way to get to learn about the culture, food and history! I highly recommend this tour and worth every penny! Noemi’s Gastronomy city tour was excellent!
I couldn’t ask for a better tour guide on my first and a very limited time in Guadalajara. We started at 9 am and didn’t get done until around 6:30 pm. It was worth the money I booked for a solo tour (the introvert in me). Noemi was very knowledgeable and an amazing planner. Starting the tour with an amazing breakfast then museum then so on was just what a foodie and a traveler like me needed and wanted. I don’t really know much about the history of Guadalajara but with Noemi’s tour and knowledge it was a great learning about the city itself experience. Highly recommend for those of you who has never been to Guadalajara to book Noemi as your tour guide. You will never be disappointed. I can’t rave enough the food and history of the city. Oh and make sure to bring a water bottle and umbrella in the event that it rains or it’s too hot for you to go around town. Almost importantly keep an open mind and come hungry to the tour! 😬

Trying the best chivó birria, trying pitahaya ice cream. Meeting the creator of this fantastic ice cream. The San Juan de Dios market where we stopped and had lunch and shopped. Museum Cabañas was amazing. Noemi was incredibly knowledgeable and kind. We both enjoyed our day with her. I recommend her and her tour.

Noemi is a fantastic guide, not simply because she knows all the places to take you and all the best food to eat, but because she is so knowledgeable and charming. She and I literally spent the entire day together poking fun at each other, while she taught me about the city and bought me all the local snacks and food I could handle. If you’re after a very genuine tour where your guide won’t just passively lead you through the entire experience, then this is the one to book.

This tour was absolutely wonderful! We had an amazing time with our guide Noemi who was both a consumate professional and extremely knowledgeable. Our tour had a minor mix up (not our guides fault) and she handled everything with such ease and consideration to all parties that we were all able to have a very fun and safe tour. Wear comfortable shoes and get ready for lots of lo cal food and fun.

Our guide, Noemi, greeted us in a beautiful traditional dress (see picture below) and started our day with breakfast in a historical district restaurant. While we ate, she told us the significance of the buildings and area. The food was outstanding!
What we loved about the tour is learning the history and culture of Guadalajara and how it’s tied to the food and drink. Noemi is very knowledgeable and has a sense of humor!
We highly recommend this walking tour of the downtown area of Guadalajara. I’d rate this tour 10 stars!!
We will remember our time with Noemi with smiles! The day flew by before we knew it!
Make sure to wear comfortable shoes because you’ll need them.

A very thorough tour of relevant and historically interesting aspects of Guadalajara. Naomi was very knowledgeable, fun, and sincere! Naomi loves her city and it shows in the passion she brings to the tour. She also handled our tab everywhere we went which was nice (it's included in the price). Her English was great and was able to answer all of my questions. If you are interested in history, architecture, and a little culinary curiosity, then this tour will be good for you.

This is a fabulous tour. We covered a lot of ground and got to see so much we would have missed had we not had Naomi leading the way. We started the morning at a classic restaurant that is written up in travel magazines. Then visited the newly opened Ladies Bridge, various historical buildings, and the market for lunch. The tour was private and Naomi was so kind allowing us to tailor the tour to accommodate our desires and physical abilities. We highly recommended this tour. Naomi is passionate about GDL, it’s history, and food.

This walking tour was fun because it was a combination of food, architecture and history. Noemi picked us up on time and we started with a nice breakfast.
