The tour is highly recommended. Riding the buggies is a great adventure. Regardless of the ride, the tour was very nice. First along the coastal road and then into the mountains. From there we had a fabulous view over the great landscape. In between, there were 2 stops in typical restaurants to treat yourself to a refreshment. Phil and the 2nd guide were very friendly.
If you want to have a small, private tour with a lot of insight into the typical Gran Canaria, this is highly recommended!!!!

This was not the best experience. Firstly it's not mentioned on the site but all cars are manual no automatic so we found out when we got there only manual so all 3 of us had to sit in one buggy because only one person in our group could drive stick. Second the driver agreed to pick us up at the port but while on the boat 13 hours before we were set to go he tells. Us he will not be able to pick us up from the port because he had to wait for another group so instead offering another way he offered to cancel our event and refund our money. And then only after he canceled the group because their bus that he sent got lost he offered to take us back but then when the group finally made it he said he cant take us back because he needed to assist the other group. Basically we felt that because there would be more money with the other group he didn't want to lose out and not take them so he just left us high and dry. So we actually had to pay a taxi to get us there 200 euro. Lastly he showed up the pick us up at the light house a half an hour late and on the site it says it's a 2 hour tour when we got there he told us 3 hours. He also mentioned not all of the buggy worked so even if all of us did drive stick there likely would not be enough cars I would not recommend this activity to anyone. The ride was nice if you're willing to deal with all of this.

Phil was so helpful - picked us up and dropped of at hotel after , 1969 buggy ran perfectly and was so much fun to drive - nippy on the flat and grippy up the mountain - the roads are so smooth compared to uk roads . Would deffo recommend to anyone

Philippe graciously picked us up from the cruise port and took us to his depot on the south side of the island. It was great fun driving through the beaches and mountain roads in these classic VWs! Nestor and Philippe are petrolheads and we had a lovely time chatting about cars and life in general. We cannot recommend the experience enough! It was a blast and we’ll definitely do it again!

A great day. Phil and Simon were so welcoming. Even when our buggy ran out of fuel half way up the mountain, Phil ensured a great ride in his buggy and then took us back so we can ride it back to the meeting point.

Awesome time! Simon and Phillip run an outstanding operation. Simon was a great guide and instructor on how to drive the buggy’s. Simon picked us up early from our cruise ship on the north side of Gran Canaria and had us to his “office” on the south side in under 45 minutes. Within 45 minutes of arriving we were in our buggy and on our way. The buggy’s were very fun to drive and the scenery was magnificent. Our tour included 4 of us (2 in each buggy) plus Simon in his. There were several stops along the way for drinks, snacks and to just enjoy the views. About 2 hours later we were at the top of the mountain. The views were spectacular. Overall, we drove about 3.5 hours but with the stops it went quickly. At the end of our tour (and a break for a snack, Simon, as promised, had us back yo our cruise ship in time for some souvenir shopping, and to catch our ship. Could not rate this tour higher.

Took the 2.5 - 3 hour tour which takes you up into the mountains with a couple of included drink stops. Simon was a great fun guide and the buggies were fun to drive. It gets hot in the mountains so make sure you bring your hats and sun cream. Really good fun and shows you a part of the island you wouldn't otherwise see on holiday. Brilliant views along the way. Well worth it.

This was the best tour of my life! For me and my friends this was not just a buggy tour. It was a mix of getting to know the places, drinks and food, seeing beautiful views, having a relaxing drink and all that while having fun driving supercool original 70's buggies! But the very best was our tour guide. I call him "Simon, the legend of Gran Canaria". This guy makes you laugh untill you can't anymore and he sweetens your tour. Great team, great tour! Thanks. Worth every penny.

Thrilling experience!! The best way to tour the winding mountainside, dunes, and seaside roads in my opinion! You feel the snaking pavement, open air, warmth of sun, cool crispness of the solitary mountain air coarse through you. The vintage buggy’s manual drive keeps the driver engaged and attentive, especially along the cliff side! Philip is one cool man, and his lively energy matches accordingly making for an awesome custom touring. Perfect timeline.
Take care to drive the vintage buggy well and you’ll have an awesome experience, start to finish!! 10 stars!! Will definitely come back with more friends!!

So if you are looking for a buggy tour with unique sights and a mega pleasant atmosphere, Phillip is the right place for you. We as a family with two children 6 and 9 years have been able to enjoy a wonderful time with great views. At Phillip it's something very special, he loves to beautify your day. The activity is very good and the course breathtaking. The vehicles are nice it's a return to the not so distant past.
However, watch out for the central reservation. They absolutely wanted to speak in French and were wrong about the time of booking, and the number of vehicles booked. Which means that on arrival we had to pay extra for the second car

On a réservé cette magnifique expérience en famille ! Et on ne regrette pas, au début ma petite sœur était septique et ne voulait pas la faire mais au final ça a été l’une de ses meilleures activités ici (comme nous toutes). On a eu Phillipe comme guide un monsieur qui a une très belle histoire de vie et qui est très attachant, on a aussi rencontré Simon très aimable et drôle aussi. Merci encore à Phillipe pour ce moment!

Phil und Marcel waren zwei super nette Guides. Wir sind herrliche Serpentinen gefahren und es wurde immer gewartet, wenn jemand zu weit zurück war. Es hat riesigen Spaß gemacht. Nur Querfeldein sind wir leider nicht gefahren.
