A truly magical experience! The day started with an early pick-up from our hotel and a warm welcome at the launch site with light refreshments. Watching the balloons being prepared was already exciting, but the real highlight was the flight itself. Floating peacefully above Cappadocia’s fairy chimneys at sunrise was breathtaking. Our pilot was knowledgeable, friendly, and made us feel very safe throughout the journey. The post-flight champagne toast and flight certificate were the perfect finishing touches. Everything was smooth, professional, and unforgettable. A big thank you to Mr. Ibrahim for organizing such a memorable adventure. Definitely a must-do!

We purchased this tour one day before the tour. They sent us a message a few minutes later. The driver picked us up at the time we agreed on.
The balloon ride was fantastic! All the crew — the pilot and the workers — were amazing. Everything was perfect!
We had champagne and received a certificate to celebrate that we made it.

The tour company (Red and Green Travel) came to pick us up precisely at 6:30am, and dropped us off at the Hotel afterwards. Company staffs kept up well informed about the weather conditions the day before the flight and we were very lucky that the cancellation we were worried about did not happen. The flight experience itself was beyond amazing. Overall, very happy with the whole thing.

Amazing experience, had to delay a day due to weather but we were lucky enough to have time in our trip to still go. Organizer was responsive, Pilot was a blast energetic, fun and professional. Smooth flight and landing 10/10 would recommend. Book in advance and give yourself a few days just incase winds dont agree with flying, it was about an hour out but we enjoyed our views and experience.

Our hot air balloon ride in Cappadocia was truly unforgettable. The pilot started with clear landing safety tips, then took us on a longer, higher route than the others. We floated low through the gorge and over the river before rising above to watch the sun light up the Ihlara Valley. Absolutely breathtaking.

Experience gives two morning options. I picked 3:30 am because I had to be back at the hotel early. However, they picked me up at 4:30 instead and said I will be back in time. I wasn’t.
We get to the balloon area and they we get on. We practiced how to crouch down for landing - in my area, it was 5 of us and we all couldn’t crouch but they didn’t move us which can be completely dangerous. During our ride, we hit a tall bark which had a huge impact on the basket we were on and everyone had an injury (sore leg, sore arm and even cuts on elbows because of the impact) then later we hit another tree. To top it off, we didn’t even land correctly - it landed on the side and we had to crawl out of there. We were in a middle of the field no where near a road. Had to wait for the van to pick us up. It was absolutely horrible. The pilot didn’t even ask if we were okay or apologize for the experience. On top of that, he was selling the video for 10€ and since I was in a group of 10. He wanted to charge 100. Which wasn’t fair because not every member wanted a video. I made it back to my hotel late. We were only in air for about 40 minutes instead of an hour AND we didn’t not receive a certificate for going on an air balloon as stated in their listing. I do not recommend

Mr. Zapata contacted us to confirm the availability for 11 people and also asked whether it would be possible to reach the airport transfer on time after the flight — which we confirmed. After this confirmation, you and your friends completed the booking.
Following the flight, we stayed in contact with Mr. Zapata, who informed us that the experience went very well and expressed his satisfaction and thanks (which can be verified through our WhatsApp correspondence). Neither you, Mr. Zapata, nor any other member of your group contacted us with any complaint or concern after the flight.
Therefore, receiving this review 15 days after your flight was quite surprising for us. We do not feel that your comments were made in good faith, but we still thank you for sharing your thoughts.

Everything was well planned. When I had a glitch in my scheduling Ibrahim fixed it immediately. I was so impressed with his service. Our driver was so thoughtful and helpful when we asked to be dropped at a different location from our hotel. Everyone was great!

We had arrived in Cappadocia late Friday night and booked our original balloon ride tour for Sat 20th but due to unfavourable weather conditions this was cancelled, no balloons flew at all and this continued on the Sunday aswell, Monday being our last option we booked this tour operator who had availability. On the sunday night they advised the balloon ride was cancelled due to weather and offered us another balloon ride in Ilara Valley, we accepted given this was our final day but was aware the experience wouldn't be the same. Later that night we spoke with a nice taxi driver who told us to avoid this experience as its not as good which we knew anyway and he told us that balloons were not cancelled for tomorrow, hearing this we contacted the tour operator we had spoke with previously- Ibrahim. We were also checking the SHM website which hadn't given the red/green flag conditions or update yet for the following morning. Ibrahim told us it was too late to cancel and we wouldn't be refunded but we explained we had only opted for this because he had said no balloons would be flying in the Gerome area and most tour operators had cancelled (but they hadnt) he was vague at first but after accepting the less deseriable experience he had advised it was only his tour company that had cancelled goreme experience, he was a smooth talker and basically just told us everything we wanted to hear. The next morning we reluctantly went to the balloon ride in Ilara Valley. This was over an hour away and on the way the SHM website had updated to confirm balloons were safe to fly in Goreme! Most balloon rides flew that morning and we were stuck in the middle of nowhere. We were beyond gutted and infuriated, this experience was the one reason we wanted to visit cappadocia like most people and we had been hoodwinked into thinking this was not going ahead and persuaded to take a less desirable experience. Not only did we not get to ride in a hot air balloon but we didnt get a chance to see them either. Upon arrival to Ilhara Valley there was 3 balloons already being set up for flight, our balloon which was being prepared for take off had big rips and holes innit, it was compromised and unsafe so we took the decision to not fly. We believe given the last 2 days balloon rides had been cancelled for goreme, Monday would have been extremely busy and the tour operator probably overbooked and had to offer people a less desirable alternative so they could keep our money. Would avoid, do not place your trust or experience in this company.

Great experience overall! The crew was professional and made the ride feel very safe. Booking last minute was a huge advantage, and we got the best price during a very expensive week. Only drawback was the limited number of balloons, otherwise a fantastic ride!

Magnificent views. Prompt pickup and great service. There is no breakfast but it means you can sleep in a little later. They did provide water and snacks pre flight you could take with you on the balloon. Flew close to the fairie chimneys and love valley. Incredible and must do!

Imagine waking up at 3am, The driver showes up 20 minutes late just to drive about 30-45minutes to the sight. After finally getting to the site they have us waiting in this cramped bus with no update on what’s going on. After waiting about 20 additional minutes we get told the balloons are cancelled.
