A Massive Thank you !

Anything we were unsure about, our tour operator Puneet kept us informed & sent our tickets well in advance of the flights. Our taxi driver Lalit, to & from the airport in Goa was prompt & friendly. When arriving at Delhi, we were met by Mr Madan, who took us to pick up our guide Raj. We saw our first breath taking view of the Taj Mahal at sunset, from a view point. Raj took great photos for us & showed how passionate he is about the history of the Taj Mahal. Mr M then took us to our hotel, The Clark’s Shiraz, which is rather dated, but clean & comfortable, with very amiable staff & they served authentic Indian food in the restaurant. The next morning we were up for a 6:30 start, so the temperature was cooler but unexpectedly, the crowds had already started to gather at the entrance to the Taj. Our time was then spent being amazed by the architecture of the Taj & our experience being enriched by Raj’s wonderful knowledge. We later visited Agra Fort & Palace & again Raj took the setting back in time & brought the past history to life, in a spell binding way. As we didn’t have too much time left before our flight, we visited the stone mason’s craft gallery, which was an education in itself. Mr M then took us safely for our return flight, dropping Raj off on the way. This truly was an unforgettable experience for lots of reasons, but I’m sure we were able to thoroughly embrace & enjoy it all the more due to the great care we received from everyone involved, from the start to the finish of our trip. An advent adventure to Agra

We travelled to Delhi from Goa for our trip on Christmas Eve to Agra Pre trip information don’t come until late the previous day and i was anxious about this but i shouldn’t have worried as all was well organised We were picked up at our Goa hotel at 7:30am for the trip to Gos airport to fly to Delhi - we had booked extra leg room seats on our Indigo flight and this was comfortable. Arrived at Delhi and promptly and warmly met at Delhi Airport by our driver Mr Sonu who took us to Agra - we wanted to get to Mehtab Bagh opposite the Taj - the traffic coming out of Delhi was crazy so he needed to go fast on the expressway to get there on time which he did and we always felt safe despite some chaotic driving conditions for him ! Lovely time at Mehtab Bagh - where we met our guide Raj i’d previously been to Agra and this was something i’d missed out so was keen to do it and it didn’t disappoint One thing i would say if travelling from Goa especially is take some snacks we had cashews on the plane but then nothing until 7pm so we were hungry We were then taken to a carpet makers and shop- which was the only part of the tour we didn’t really like as we were tired and hungry and just wanted to go to hotel We were booked in the Courtyard by Marriott in Agra which was excellent As it was christmas eve we paid to upgrade room and have tickets to the gala dinner which was excellent decision We were picked up at 6:30-am christmas day and taken to Taj Mahal not too busy and great time to visit - we negotiated with a photographer for a few snaps which were later presented in album and uploaded to phone - some nice some cheesy but all good memories We chose not to go to marble place and went instead to the Agra Fort throughout the trip Raj was knowledgable and we felt well looked after It’s a tiring two days but well worth it - got a slice of something special

A great trip All pick ups on time Courteous drivers Ravi met us at Dheli airport with a warm welcome Rocky our guide was an expert at getting us to the front of queues and his photography skills were spot on The whole tour was brilliant Yes we went to the carpet and marble places and it was interesting to see the handicraft work but no real pressure to buy Agra fort was also amazing. Great to have such a knowledgeable guide. Highly recommended
