Five Stars for the People Behind the Experience

The cruise itself was unfortunately not quite what we had hoped for. The food was rather average, the buffet was quickly cleared out, and later there was hardly anything left to eat. Unfortunately, the cruise also left my stomach upset. What made the experience much more positive, however, were the people behind it. Our driver, Mohammed, was exceptionally friendly and attentive. On the way back, he even made an extra stop to get us some water and another drink – such a thoughtful gesture. I would also especially like to highlight Mohamed, who works behind the scenes in Cairo and coordinates the whole operation. He immediately sorted out a duplicate booking for me, was always reliable and responsive, and even checked on me when I was feeling very unwell at the hotel. He even offered to bring me medication. That level of personal care and commitment is something you rarely experience. For that reason, our rating is more positive than it otherwise might have been based on the cruise itself. Five stars, above all, for the humanity, kindness and exceptional commitment of the people who looked after us. Thank you very much!

The boat was plush and food really good. My GF allergy was catered for. There was not much info on where we were going and what we were seeing. There was no safety briefing and no information that there was an upper outer deck, we found this out at the last minute. Staff were excellent. Show was great. Drinks ridiculously expensive

This is definitely not a five star experience. The boat is very old, there is smoking throughout the boat and the staff does not do anything about it. When we were there the line for food was long and at the end they ran out of meatballs. Yeah we left the dock but the boat barely moved. The best part of the trips was the pick up and drop of by Mohamed which was very polite.

Transport from hotel to cruise boat and back was very smooth. Driver was nice and friendly. Entertainment was excellent. Very enjoyable. Buffet was tasty although very busy due to the amount of people. Service was good although delayed again for the same reasons. Main thing to bear in mind when booking.

An incredible dinner experience!

We had the most wonderful experience on the Nile Cruise dinner in Cairo! We initially booked an 8 p.m. slot but became free for the 6 p.m slot which the operator tried to accommodate, but couldn't. Nevertheless, we were still picked up earlier, went to a souvenir shop, then headed to the ship. We had a brief wait because of ticket confirmations, which was a little frustrating, but nothing out of the ordinary. In future I would ask the driver to start by confirming this before dinner to avoid waiting in the cold. Everything was top-notch after check-in, and it truly felt like a magical evening. The transfer service was incredibly professional and punctual, making the whole process stress-free. Our driver picked us up at the hotel and took us to and from the boat. The return was just as smooth. The cruise itself was breathtaking. The boat was beautiful and well-maintained, with plenty of space to enjoy the view. Dining under the stars on the Nile was an experience I'll never forget. The food was delicious—offering a great variety of local dishes. The 5$ photos on the ship were a rip-off. The photographer just went around posing with guests without their approval. Avoid these if you don't need them, which is more than likely. The live music and performances made the evening extra special. There was a talented band playing traditional Egyptian music, followed by a stunning belly dance performance that added a cultural flair to the night. The atmosphere was lively yet relaxing, and the night breeze on the Nile made everything feel even more magical. This is a great experience when in Cairo, whether you're traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. The combination of good food, entertainment, and seamless logistics made it an unforgettable part of my trip. Highly recommend!
