Great trip into the desert!!! Perfect for landscape photography and meditation. The guides were good at everything - driving, guided sightseeing, setting up and moving camp, and cooking. I recommend.

Absolutely amazing experience in the White Desert - the places we visited were incredible and really need to be seen to be believed. Everything about the trip was superbly organised, the camp set-up was great and the food was really good too. Lots of flexibility to tailor what you do to your own interests and priorities. Can't recommend this tour, or this company, enough! Note for solo female travellers - don't hesitate to book this trip. I nearly cancelled for the usual reasons re. personal safety concerns, but felt entirely comfortable and safe throughout the whole experience.

Leave crazy Cairo for the peaceful desert. Camping and traveling thru the desert is the highlight of my trip so far. Don’t rush it. So much to see. Mustafa was great guide. Good food. The sculptures. The fossils. The scenery. Amazing.

Avevamo il desiderio di entrare a fondo nella realtà incontaminata del deserto egiziano, che riserva spettacoli naturali che meritano, da soli, il viaggio nel Paese. In un tour di 4 giorni a stretto contatto con due guide la costruzione di un buon feeling è essenziale e noi siamo stati incredibilmente fortunati ad avere Mahmoud e Hisham al nostro fianco. Molto esperti della zona, rispettosi degli spazi di privacy, laboriosi e, non ultimo, molto molto simpatici. Gli appassionati di geologia troveranno in Mahmoud le spiegazioni dietro alle varie formazioni rocciose che vedrete nel viaggio. In questa esperienza si passa da uno spettacolo all'altro, con traferimenti su piste desertiche affascinanti. L'accampamento viene preparato con cura dalle guide e ci si può godere il proprio tempo senza le fatiche del campeggio. Il cibo tradizionale è sapientemente preparato al momento da Hisham e, in molti casi, di gran lunga più buono di quello assaggiato nei ristoranti nel Paese. Le colazioni, servite su un bel tavolino di legno, offrivano le migliori viste che abbiamo mai sperimentato al nostro risveglio. Le serate attorno al fuoco riportano a una dimensione primordiale e pura della vita, che ti spingono a pensare che dopotutto la società civilizzata è, per molti aspetti, sopravvalutata. In termini di valore offerto per il prezzo sostenuto da noi (circa 350 euro a testa), siamo rimasti entusiasti. Bisogna ovviamente essere consapevoli che visitare il deserto, comporta alcuni sacrifici in termini di confort (si dorme in tenda, ben coperti, e si va in bagno nella natura). La ricompensa è stata per noi inestimabile e una delle migliori esperienze di viaggio mai fatte nella nostra vita.
