Starting with the positives, Chefchaouen is a lovely place and we really enjoyed our time walking the streets. We were given 4 hours there which felt like a good amount of time to enjoy the sites.
Unfortunately, the travel to and from Chefchaouen was very poor. The minibus was very old and dated. The seats were very close together which made for a very uncomfortable ride. The seat belts were also not working properly. The drive is very long and the road conditions bumpy, our driver drove very fast which made this worse at points. There was also more than the advertised 17 people on our minibus on the way there which made it feel more squashed.
On the way back, the driver did not stop for over 3 hours (the tour advertises several stops). The windows at the back of the bus leaked- which we found out the hard way when it started raining on the way back and my arm got soaked.
Overall, we would recommend Chefchaouen but would strongly encourage exploring other ways to get there as we were very disappointed by this and do not feel this was good value for money.

This had mixed reviews. The town has great Instagram moments but it is very touristy with the same shops repeated every block. It lessens the authentic feel. And it is a long drive. Our guide was not very informative with historical facts. There may be other tours better worth your time, like a spa experience at a hahamman with a moroccan cooking class. But if you want to drive 7 hrs for an Instagram moment it may be of value to you.

I had the absolute best time in Chefchaouen. Our driver Said was very professional and knew the roads very well. Our guide Abdelhadi was very nice and made sure everyone made it back to the meeting spot on time and communicated well throughout the trip. 10/10 would recommend this tour company!

This is effectively a shared taxi; they take you to Chefchaouen and you explore - which is fine. The minibus was comfortable (although a few people had problems with their seatbelts), Zaki the driver did a great job, considering it was raining, the riad conditions were not always great, Moroccan drivers 🫣 and it's a long day for him.
His sidekick, Omar was also nice, speaking both in English & Spanish.
Getting to Chefchaouen, there was a guide who'd show us round for an hour. We were a group of 3 Spanish visitors and 3 English speaking people - the 'guide' mostly only spoke Spanish. I told him at the beginning that I didn't speak Spanish, but he continued focussing on the Spanish people.
We were told we'd go to a Berber arts place, which turned out to be a rug place, of course with the intention to sell. In the rug shop, the man there only focussed on the Spanish people, because the guide was doing the same 🤷🏻♀️
So I learnt nothing about the city. After the 'tour' there was a further 3 hours alone time to explore.
The company are aware of the above and have said they will not use the guide again.
The next day I had a message from the driver asking me to leave a 5⭐ review, which makes me question how honest and reliable other reviews have been.

The guide in the city was wonderful
The transportation was poor. They were on time, the trip was 8 people maximum, but 12 were on board. The van did not have properly working seat belts and the pull down snack trays were filthy. Some USB ports not working. Guides in the van rarely talked with guests.

Was a wonderful day
The drive there was uncomfortable.because of the road when i sat in the front i didn't feel the bumps.as much maybe if we had slowed down it would.have been more comfortable also maybe stopped earlier for a break. Anyway the guides were good, we took some photos then were left to look around ourselves because i was staying overnight he pointed out my Dar.
Also he showed us a very good restaurant.In all.the day was good I enjoyed it and thanks for a successful.time

Pleasant trip. No force shopping or dining. Guide is very friendly. The van is a little dated but overall it’s good.

Fuss-free, clear communication and the contact person who is in touch with you on the pickup details is very responsive. Thank you for that! Be prepared for a long drive to and fro chefchaouen, but there are plenty of stops for a quick toilet break and snacks in between. Also, 2-3 hours in chefchaouen was good enough for me.

We were picked up from our Riad at 7.50am and headed for the long drive to Chefchaouen, our driver Yassine was really nice but did at times drive very fast which isn’t great on those bumpy roads.
The blue city was lovely and you only see the small touristy bit, we were shown around by another Yassine. Some of it needs a paint but overall amazing to see, it’s been a place we have wanted to see for ages.
We were so lucky that the famous blue steps for your photos had just been painted 5 minutes before we arrived.
7.5 hours return trip in a 7 seater SUV is a long time for just 2 hours in Chefchaouen and an hour of that was lunch which I must say was delicious but is it worth it? Yes, it’s still worth the drive to see
We also met a Canadian couple on our trip, after 7.5 hours in a car we are now friends for life, family!
